This is a walkthrough for Chestnut Valley in Paper Mario: The Origami King. Read on to learn locations for all Chestnut Valley collectibles and treasure, hidden toads, hidden blocks, and confetti holes, as well as other useful tips and strategies for getting through this area.

1 | Head north up the ramp and to the right until a cutscene starts. Jump out of the way when the chestnuts start rolling out. Hide in wall gaps to avoid chestnuts. Treasure No. 34 can be found here. (Jump to Explanation) |
2 | Enlarge Continue going right up the hill while avoiding the chestnuts. On the upper ramp, one of the walls has a crack, which can be broken with the Hammer to make an extra gap to hide in. |
3 | At the top of the hill, jump up to the north ledge, and fall down onto the small cliff where Bob-omb is stuck on the ground. Hold A to pull him out. Treasure No. 35 can be found here. (Jump to Explanation) Toad No. 13 can be found here. (Jump to Explanation) |
4 | Go back onto the north ledge and continue east while dodging chestnuts. Bob-omb will get knocked out by chestnuts and fly off, continue on. |
5 | Enlarge In the field of chestnuts, lead the Galoombas blocking the way to one of the three gaps, then run to the opposite gap to get through before they can move and block you. |
6 | Continue up the next slope to the north, then fall off when you see a ledge below. You will find a Pipe leading up to the ledge above, where you can save Bob-omb again. Don't follow Bob-omb, he won't be at the bottom of the slope. |
7 | Enlarge Continue east up the slope and find Bob-omb sleeping on the stump. Hit him with the Hammer to wake him up. Take the path up back to Autumn Mountain. |

1 | Lead Bob-omb up to Water Vellumental Shrine and a cutscene will begin. Head into the Shrine. |
Water Vellumental Shrine Walkthrough
If you start climbing up the hill and a chestnut rolls down after you, you'll have to run all the way back down. Time when you start going up to make sure you can reach the door in time before a chestnut starts rolling down!

At the top of the second slope, hit the tree the Goomba was using to drop chestnuts on you, then hit the chestnut origami that falls down. |
Enlarge Tree by the Save Point |
Hitting this tree once will start a battle with Goombas and Galoombas, so fight those first. Then hit it again to find the Toads hiding in it. |

After getting past the Galoomba + Chestnut wall, look for a small hole in the back of the area. Hit it once with your hammer and pull out the Toad. |

After saving Bob-omb, a butterfly will float down on the left side, so hit it to get the Toad. |

Upon arriving, go south near the fence and follow the pathway down the mountain to find the treasure box. |

You will find Collectible Treasure No. 35 (Sign) while saving Bob-omb from getting stuck on the ground, it is inside a hole on the wall next to Bob-omb. |

Go south of the Save Point, past the tree and onto a ledge with the treasure. |
