Bonds Quest Walkthrough

Search the village for your crew

	Objectives
1	Clear the Outskirts.→Open the Gate Head into the outskirts of the village and clear the first set of Ferals in the area. Open the Gate after to enter the village.
2	Clear the Area.→Move the Cart. Once inside the village, kill every enemy in the Area, then move the Cart after to move forward.

Recue your crew

3	Clear the Courtyard.→Move the Cart. Head uphill and kill every enemy in the Courtyard. Watch out for the Hunters that fire explosive projectiles at you. This can be avoided by evading the red circular zones.
4	Clear the Area.→Enter the Hilltop Monastery. Continue moving forward and wipe out the rest of the enemies in the Area. Enter the Hilltop Monastery after to fight Yagak.
5	Defeat Yagak. Fight Yagak. Check out our Boss Guide below on how to defeat him.
6	Return to camp and bury Jakub.→Talk to Channa to continue through the Desert. After defeating Yagak, travel back to camp and bury Jakub. Speak with Channa after to finish the quest.

Tips and Strategies

Use Melee Attacks to Destroy a Bulwark's Shield

This quest introduces you to the Bulwarks, mid-tier Feral combatants similar to the Insurgents' Breachers. They can cast shields to protect themselves from bullets, which makes it a bit harder to kill them. To counteract this, use your Melee Attacks to destroy their shields, making them vulnerable from your gunshots.

Boss Strategy: Yagak

How to Beat Yagak

Yagak is one of the tougher boss fights in the game. His movesets are fast and very deadly. Move around the monastery as often as possible, as he can teleport next to you and charge you with his sword repeatedly. Evade while he is still in mid-air to avoid his sword attack.
