What Are Status Effects?

Status Effects are state-altering outcomes caused by different kinds of attacks and mods. Equipping your character with different sets of equipment and skills grants your attacks additional Status Effects of varying degrees.

Some Status Effects are crowd-control Effects, hindering enemy movement and attacks. Others Effects deal damage over a short period. Lastly, some Effects directly affect enemy movements and attacks.

What Does Ash Status Effect Do?

  • Crowd-Control Effect
  • Enemies are coated in a layer of ashfall, temporarily stopping their movements and attacks for 2.5 seconds

If your character gets caught in Ash, your movements are temporarily restricted. Use your Melee Skill to break free.

What Does Freeze Status Effect Do?

  • Crowd-Control Effect
  • Enemies are trapped in a block of ice, temporarily stopping their movements and attacks for 3.5 seconds

If your character gets caught in Freeze, your movements are temporarily restricted. Use your Melee Skill to break free.

What Does Bleed Status Effect Do?

  • Damage Over Time Effect
  • Deals damage equal to 2.5% of your Ability Power every 0.5 seconds for 5 seconds

If your character gets afflicted with Bleed, stay in place for the Effect's duration because you take more damage when you move.

What Does Burn Status Effect Do?

  • Damage Over Time Effect
  • Deals damage equal to 3.7% of your Ability Power every 0.5 seconds for 6 seconds

If your character gets afflicted with Burn, cancel out the Effect by rolling to the side to extinguish the flames.

What Does Toxic Status Effect Do?

  • Damage Over Time Effect
  • Deals damage equal to 3.5% of your Ability Power every 0.5 seconds for 6 seconds

If your character gets afflicted with Toxic, use your Healing Mechanic to cancel out the effect during its duration.

What Does Slow Status Effect Do?

  • State-Altering Effect
  • Reduces movement and attack speed by 30-75%, depending on the enemy's status resistance, for a duration depending on the Skill or Mod used.

What Does Vulnerable Status Effect Do?

  • State-Altering Effect
  • Lowers the enemy's defenses and increases the damage received by 25% for 10 seconds.

What Does Weakness Status Effect Do?

  • State-Altering Effect
  • Lowers the enemy's attack and decreases the damage dealt by 30% for 6 seconds.
