Return Fire Basic Information

How to Unlock Return Fire

The side quest appears right after talking to Grand Marshal Corrigan during the Mentor main quest. Head inside the Saloon and talk to Ujio to start the side quest.

Note that this side quest is displayed with a crosshair symbol (⌖) instead of the exclamation mark (!) on the minimap.

Return Fire Quest Walkthrough

Wreckage Zone

	Objectives
1	Locate the Damnation launcher. → Clear the Ruins. Fast travel to the Wreckage Zone and clear the enemies in the ruins. Retrieve the key from the last slain enemy and open the door.
2	Plant the flag. Plant the flag to enable fast travel in this area. Refill your ammo and proceed to the next area.
3	Clear the Bunker. Make your way up to the Bunker and eliminate the enemies. A Captain, two Cremators, and several Breachers will appear so you may need to fall back to finish them off first.
4	Search the vicinity for some explosives. Head inside the bunker and pick up the explosives.
5	Plant the explosives on the Damnation launcher. Head back to the open area and stand in front of the artillery to plant the explosives.
6	Return to Ujio. Head back to the Saloon in Trench Town and talk to Ujio to complete the side quest and to collect your reward.

Tips and Strategies

Lure out the Captain

During the fight at the bunker, you can lure out the Captain on the area leading to the bunker to face him one on one. The other enemies such as the Rifleman and Marksman will not pursue you and will remain in their positions.

You can also use this tactic to lure out the two Cremators and the several Breachers.

Return Fire Chest Locations

	Map Location	Directions
1		From the door leading to the next area in the Polluted Outpost, head east down the path to find a container and a hanged man.
2		You can find the container inside the bunker west from the explosives.
