| A desperate elderly man told you of his daughter, who was caught on the Insurgent's side. Ever since, they've been communicating with letters, using a smuggler to get them across. But he's not been able to reach the smuggler since he was wounded by artillery. He handed you a package to deliver to the smuggler in the Wreckage Zone. | |
Complete the Detour main quest and reach Trench Town. Talk to Greybeard to start the side quest.
You'll have to progress through the Mentor Main Quest first to unlock the Wreckage Zone, which is the destination of this Side Quest.

| 1 |   Locate the Smugglers in the abandoned mines. |
| 2 |  Clear the Caverns. → Clear the Rocks. Eliminate all the enemies inside the caverns. Stay in a wide open space and wait for the enemies to come to you. |
| 3 |  Open the door. Head east from the Crevice fast travel point and open the door to proceed to the next area. |
| 4 |  Clear the Mine → Eliminate the Smuggler Leader. After the cutscene, take out all the enemies inside. Watch out for the Smuggler Leader's lightning attacks as they deal a lot of damage when playing at a high World Tier. |
| 5 |  Return to Greybeard in Trench Town. Head back to Trench Town and talk to Greybeard to complete the side quest and to claim your reward. |
