The Path of Erudition is a path introduced in Honkai: Star Rail's Gold and Gears game mode. See how to unlock it, how to use it, path buffs, and all the Erudition Blessings here!
The Path of Erudition Blessings unlocks during the Gold and Gears: Experimental Teaching mission. The mission acts as a tutorial for the Gold and Gears game mode within the Simulated Universe.
The Erudition Path can only be unlocked in the regular Simulated Universe after unlocking all the Trailblaze and Aeon Secrets of Gold and Gears. Then, you need to clear the mission called Gold and Gears: The End.
Simulated Universe Gold and Gears Guide
The Resonance of the Path of Erudition dishes out some minor Imaginary DMG and links the enemy with the highest Max HP with other enemies on the field, inflicting Synapse Resonance.
Synapse Resonance allows an enemy target and the enemy with the highest Max HP to take some Ultimate DMG each time you attack them. Usually, the enemy with the highest Max HP is the elite enemy or the boss on the battlefield.
With this, it is best to use the Resonance of the Path of Erudition right away so you can apply Synapse Resonance to the tankiest enemy on the field!

 Himeko

• Path of Erudition Blessings will significantly increase Himeko's Ultimate and AoE DMG. • In Golds and Gears, Himeko is also compatible with all of Erudition's Resonance Interplay. |
 Argenti

• The Path of Erudition matches well with Argenti due to its Blessings focusing on Ultimate DMG and AoE ATK. • In Golds and Gears, Argenti will not be able to take advantage of Resonance Interplay: Full Scan because he naturally does not have follow-up attacks. |
 Herta
|
• Herta is the most compatible 4-star DPS for the Path of Erudition. This is because Herta can take advantage of the Ultimate and AoE ATK related buffs that the Path of Erudition provides. • In Gold and Gears, Herta is compatible with all of Erudition's Resonance Interplay. Additionally, all the bosses in the Third Plane are naturally weak to Ice. |
