The Path of Remembrance is the best path for Gold and Gears Difficulty 5 thanks to its percentage-based DMG through Dissociation. This Path is the best against defeating the Final Boss domain as all enemies are weak to Ice DMG.
The Remembrance Path will be essential to beating Conundrum Level 6.

A Remembrance Team relies on Freezing enemies to implant Dissociation and deal a lot of DMG. March 7th is the most essential unit for the Remembrance Path because her Ultimate can Freeze all enemies.
Any DPS can work as long as they're capable of attacking multiple enemies. You would want to have both a Preservation and an Abundance character in the party as most enemies in Difficulty 5 are capable of one-shotting your characters.

Jingliu is the best Ice DPS to use for Gold and Gears thanks to her high DMG numbers and she can easily Weakness Break enemies weak to Ice.
At the beginning of your Gold and Gears run, you can swap March for Ruan Mei or Pela to easily sweep Plane 1. Switch back to using March when you're up against Elite enemies or fighting in a Boss Domain.

You can also use Argenti since the Boss Domain enemies in Plane 2 or Plane 3 can also be weak to Physical. If you need to speedrun through the Planes, you can replace March with Tingyun or Hanya until you encounter an Elite enemy.
You may use The Path of Erudtion to enhance Argenti's Ultimate and still use Remembrance Blessings to Freeze enemies.

We recommend using the Knowledge: Countdown Custom Dice as it increases the Countdown when you enter a domain with a Knowledge effect, which makes it easier to avoid Planar Disarray.
Most of the Dice Faces should apply the Knowledge effect on domains. Use General: Counteract, in particular, to generate more Adventure or Reward Domains for more chances of getting the Blessings you need.

Remembrance Blessings are useful for immobilizing every enemy including Boss Domains. We recommend collecting Remembrance Blessings that involve the use of Dissociation to deal a ton of DMG.
The most important Blessings are Perfect Experience - Fuli and Ultimate Experience - Melancholia as you can implant the Dissociation effect and trigger it simply by attacking a Frozen enemy!

Preservation Blessings are needed to activate Resonance Interplay and decrease the DMG taken. Divine Construct - Macrosegregation, Interstellar Construct - Sanctuary, and Construct - Compensation will help you get shields through various means.
Interstellar Construct - Quadrangular Pyramid and Construct - Firmness can increase shield durability.

As for the rest, we recommend choosing Blessings that focus on defenses and overall survivability. Blessings that increase DMG Reduction and Incoming Healing will be beneficial in surviving the latter Conundrum Levels.
To have an easier time clearing the Boss Domains, go into Domains with the Knowledge effect to increase the Countdown and gain more stats. This will also prevent Planar Disarray which can increase the Final Domain's strength.
During the First Plane, use up all your Cheats and set it to the General: Counteract Dice Face to generate as much Adventure or Reward domains as possible. This will allow you to collect more Rewards and Blessings.

For Planes 2 and 3, select bosses that either have an Ice Weakness or have no resistance to being Frozen.
For Plane 3, we recommend fighting the Automaton Duo as they're much more manageable to deal with due to summoning less enemies. Only select Argenti as the Final Boss if you're using a Physical Team.
After completing Difficulty 5 for the first time, you now have the option to increase the Conundrum Level to make the Torturous Difficulty much harder to clear. You can collect more Stellar Jade rewards for completing Conundrum Levels 1 to 6.
The strategy for beating Conundrum Level 6 and up remains mostly the same. You just have to prioritize on getting the more defensive Blessings while still collecting the most important ones, particularly the Remembrance Blessings with Dissociation.
