Best Paths for World 7

The Hunt Path

Star Rail - Simulated Universe Path Resonance The Hunt

The Hunt is the best path for clearing World 7. Not only can it help with dealing tons of DMG, but its Path Resonance can deal with the Twig Summons from the Abundant Ebon Deer boss.

We recommend collecting enough Hunt Blessings to unlock Resonance Formations Perfect Aim and Bow and Arrow to be able to destroy the summoned Twigs on higher levels.

Path of The Hunt Guide

Remembrance Path

Honkai Star Rail - Path of Remembrance Guide - In Simulated Universe

Despite the Ebon Deer's Frozen RES, the Path of Remembrance can help decrease or ignore the resistance to Freeze.

We recommend collecting enough Remembrance Blessings to unlock the Total Recall Resonance Formation to increase your chances of freezing your enemies.

Path of Remembrance Guide

Propagation Path

Honkai Star Rail - Path of Propagation

If you managed to unlock the Path of Propagation from Swarm Disaster, this will be the best Path if you're using Imbibitor Lunae or Qingque.

Path of Propagation Guide

Collect The Doctor's Robe and Faith Bond Curios

Curio Effect
Honkai Star Rail - The Doctor The Doctor's Robe Upon entering battle, regenerates Path Resonance to max and increases Path Resonance DMG by 40%.
Honkai Star Rail - Faith Bond Faith Bond Reduces the Cosmic Fragments required for leveling up Blessings, resetting Blessings, and resetting downed characters by 30%.

If possible, look for the The Doctor's Robe Curio so that your Path Resonance will deal more DMG against the Ebon Deer's Twigs. You can also collect the Faith Bond curio to upgrade your Blessings at a cheaper price!

Best Characters for World 7

Character Merits
Jingliu Jingliu Jingliu is one of the best Ice characters for World 7. The Abundant Ebon Deer and other enemies are mostly weak to Ice. Jingliu's enhanced Skill can take out the Twigs with ease while also damaging the Ebon Deer at the same time!
Ruan Mei Ruan Mei Thanks to her unique buff of Break Efficiency and other useful, party-wide buffs, Ruan Mei excels in World 7 as a support to any DPS. Most enemies are weak to Ice and having increased Break Efficiency allows your DPS to easily break enemy Toughness.
Seele Seele Seele is a great character for World 7. Since the Abundant Ebon Deer is weak to Quantum, Seele can damage it with ease. The Twigs it summons are also weak to Quantum and Seele can effectively one-shot them.
Trailblazer (Fire) Trailblazer (Fire) The Fire Trailblazer is one of the best Supports against the Ebon Deer. Not only is the Ebon Deer and its Twigs weak to Fire, but the Trailblazer can also shield all allies from taking a lot of DMG.
Luocha Luocha Luocha is a great character for World 7. While the Ebon Deer is not weak to Imaginary unless you have Silver Wolf, Luocha's ability to keep the party alive and remove enemy buffs are essential for World 7.
Pela Pela Pela is an excellent 4-star Support for World 7. While her ability to deal Ice DMG and decrease enemy DEF is useful, her trump card is that she can remove enemy buffs, specifically the Ebon Deer's DEF increase.
Fu Xuan Fu Xuan Fu Xuan can protect the party through DMG redirection and deal DMG to all enemies that are weak to Quantum with her Ultimate.
Silver Wolf Silver Wolf With Silver Wolf, you can run an Imaginary team for World 7 since she can add an Elemental Weakness to an enemy.

Himeko Himeko Himeko is a strong Fire-Type AoE damage dealer that we highly recommend in World 7. As an AoE damage dealer, she can cause Weakness Break on all enemies in the field, which helps in destroying the Abundant Ebon Deer's summons while also damaging it.
Topaz Topaz Topaz is a Fire-Type DPS who is best paired with characters who have follow-up attacks since Topaz can increase the enemy's DMG from follow-up attacks. With her Technique, you can also obtain more Cosmic Fragments and a chance to get a Curio whenever you use it before entering a battle.
Hook Hook Hook is the best 4-star DPS for World 7 as the Abundant Ebon Deer is weak to Fire. The Twigs it summons are also weak to Fire.

Ice DPS Team

Main DPS Support Support Healer
Jingliu Jingliu Ruan Mei Ruan Mei Tingyun Tingyun Luocha Luocha
Paths & Blessings Path: Remembrance
Blessings: Hunt, Remembrance, Preservation, Destruction

Most enemies in World 7 are weak to Ice, so an Ice Team is the most effective team to use here! Jingliu will be the main DPS. If you don't have Jingliu, Yanqing is also another great choice. Tingyun can provide Jingliu with additional DMG and restore her Energy.

Ruan Mei can support the team with ease, which includes giving her allies increased Break Efficiency. While the Ebon Deer has Freeze RES, you can counter it by collecting Remembrance Blessings.

Quantum DPS Team

Main DPS Support Support Utility
Seele Seele Bronya Bronya Sparkle Sparkle Fu Xuan Fu Xuan
Paths & Blessings Path: Hunt
Blessings: Hunt, Abundance, Preservation

Seele is an outstanding DPS who can take down the Ebon Deer with ease, especially when packed with a lot of Hunt Blessings. Bronya will provide offensive buffs for Seele while Sparkle will provide SP restoration and DMG boosts, with both of them giving her extra turns.

Fu Xuan will help keep your party alive through the Matrix of Prescience and can also heal a little using her Ultimate.

Follow-Up Attack Team

Main DPS Sub-DPS Support Utility
Himeko Himeko Topaz Topaz Pela Pela Fu Xuan Fu Xuan
Paths & Blessings Path: Elation
Blessings: Elation, Abundance, Hunt

With this team, Himeko is the main DPS since her AoE abilities are useful against the Abundant Ebon Deer. Topaz is the sub-DPS and can increase the enemies' DMG from follow-up attacks. Pela is part of the team since she can Ice DMG, decrease the enemies' DEF, and remove the Deer's DEF buff.

Fu Xuan can solo sustain through her DMG redirection and Ultimate. If you don't have her, you can bring a healer instead.

Imaginary Team

Main DPS Sub-DPS Support Healer
Imbibitor Lunae Imbibitor Lunae Sparkle Sparkle Silver Wolf Silver Wolf Luocha Luocha
Paths & Blessings Path: Hunt or Propagation
Blessings: Hunt, Abundance, Preservation

An Imaginary team can work for World 7 as long as you have Silver Wolf since she can guarantee an Imaginary Weakness to the Abundant Ebon Deer. Dan Heng - Imbibitor Lunae as the DPS can attack the Twigs using his Enhanced Basic ATKs.

Sparkle provides Imbibitor Lunae with offensive buffs and SP restoration. She also increases the party's SP limit, which is amazing for Imbibitor Lunae. Lastly, Luocha can heal and cleanse the team.

Fire DPS Team

Tank
Healer
Hook Hook Pela Pela Trailblazer (Fire) Trailblazer (Fire) Luocha Luocha
Paths & Blessings Path: Hunt
Blessings: Remembrance, Abundance, Preservation, Destruction

Hook is the best 4-star DPS to use due to her abilities being able to deal high single-target Fire DMG. Pela can decrease the enemy's DEF and remove buffs while Luocha and the Trailblazer can easily protect the team!

How to Beat Abundant Ebon Deer - World 7 Boss

Use Path Resonance to Remove Twigs

The Abundant Ebon Deer can summon Twigs that provide it with different buffs and heal it, making your battle with it much harder. You can easily take out these Twigs by using The Hunt, Remembrance, or Elation Path Resonance.

Remove the Ebon Deer's DEF Buff

The Abundant Ebon Deer can buff himself with Hardy Leaf Sheath, which increases its own DEF and prevents toughness reduction. Use Skills from characters like Pela or Luocha to remove the buff and continue breaking its toughness!

The twigs aren't weak to wind at all... Hunt resonance is barely doing a thing to them.

3 Anonymousover 1 year

side note, for resonance formations I went for the energy regen and "eonian river" ones. Basically just freeze, hit, repeat. Not much too it. A major boost to DPS was "When attacking an enemy with dissociation, remove dissociation and deal DMG equal to 150%(200%) of dissociation DMG." Basically allowed me to 2 shot the boss while it was frozen BC each removal did 60% of its MAX HP.
