Remembrance is one of the Paths you can choose in the Simulated Universe of Honkai: Star Rail. See how to unlock it, how to use it, the best characters that can use it, the Path's buffs, and all the Remembrance Blessings here!

The Path of Remembrance is already unlocked once you start playing the Simulated Universe. It is one of the three Paths that are unlocked when you first start, with the others being Preservation and Elation.
The Path of Remembrance is also available in the Swarm Disaster, the most recent addition to the Simulated Universe. Here, the Path of Remembrance and its Blessings are already unlocked by default so you can use them immediately for your runs.

Simulated Universe Gold and Gears Guide
The Path of Remembrance is centered around Ice and Freeze. Its Blessings provide increased chances of applying Freeze and Dissociation which is a debuff that freezes the enemy and deals Ice DMG equal to a portion of their HP after Freeze is removed.
The Path of Remembrance's Blessings revolve around Ice DMG and Freezing, with its Path Resonance being no different. Its Path Resonance deals Ice DMG with a 120% base chance to Freeze all enemies for one turn.
The Path of Remembrance in the Simulated Universe works by buffing Ice DMG and damage taken when Frozen while also giving additional effects like Dissociation when an enemy is Frozen and Energy Regen when an ally Freezes an enemy.
These buffs make Ice Characters perform well with this Path. The only drawback with the Path of Remembrance is that it only works well with Ice Characters or characters that can Freeze enemies.
Since the Path of Remembrance's core is buffing Ice DMG and Freeze, use Ice Characters in your run. The Path Resonance deals Ice DMG with a high chance of Freeze, while its Blessings can provide buffs when attacking Frozen enemies.
Make sure to get Remembrance Blessings so you can upgrade the Path Resonance and make it have more effects, such as decreasing enemies' Freeze resist. Obtaining more Blessings also means more Freeze buffs for your party, so it's always a good deal.
For you to maximize the buffs for Ice DMG and Freeze that Remembrance Blessings give, you need to have more Speed, Effect Hit Rate and reduced enemy Effect RES. You can use The Hunt Blessings that provide Speed to get more turns while the enemy is Frozen.
Some Nihility Blessings reduce enemy Effect RES and increase Break Efficiency to guarantee landing Freeze while also making it easier for you to break enemy Toughness. If you need defensive Blessings, you can also get some from Preservation or Abundance.
In Swarm Disaster, the mechanics for Paths work differently. Swarm Disaster introduces a board that you traverse to enter different domains. Each Path affects the board by modifying it in a way based on their Audience Die.
The Path of Remembrance's Audience Die alters the board by copying domains and giving domains Recollection, which gives allies an increased Effect Hit Rate when entering them.
Since the Path of Remembrance gives domains Recollection, play around it and use it to your advantage. Some Dice Effects allow you to copy domains and apply Recollection to them while others allow you to move to domains with Recollection.
Using the Dice Effect Genesis of Intellect, you can copy all domains with Recollection to their adjacent domains. When the first plane or second plane begins, two random domains get copied and will have the Recollection effect.
While using the Path of Remembrance in the Swarm Disaster, whenever you enter a domain with Recollection you obtain a stacking Effect Hit Rate boost for your party that lasts throughout the run.
This gives more incentive for you to enter domains with Recollection since you want to take advantage of this continuous effect.
With Resonance Interplay in Swarm Disaster, getting three Blessings of The Hunt and Destruction is a must. The buffs they provide to the Path Resonance are invaluable and can be used to make your run easier, so take advantage of them!
Keep in mind that only three Blessings of each Path are required to activate their respective Resonance Interplays, so you don't need to get more Blessings after unless you want to.
Aside from Resonance Interplay, defensive Blessings still pair well with the Path of Remembrance here in Swarm Disaster. Enemies in the Swarm Disaster hit like a truck, especially the The Swarm - True Sting.
Preservation and Abundance Blessings provide you with shields and increased healing. Since Remembrance focuses on buffing Ice DMG and Freeze, it is good to get some defensive Blessings to guarantee your party's safety.
The Path of Remembrance increases Effect Hit Rate for all allies when you meet the conditions for the Custom Dice's passive effects. With this, it is important to understand how your chosen Custom Dice's passive effect works since it is different for every type!

Gepard | This Path is amazing for Gepard since he can Freeze enemies using his Skill. Remembrance Blessings give him buffs whenever he Freezes an enemy and paired with Preservation Blessings, his shield will be stronger also. |
Herta | Herta is a great pick when using the Path of Remembrance since she does AoE Ice Damage. Pair her up with other characters that can Freeze and with Remembrance Blessings she would be able to deal great DPS. |
March 7th | March 7th's kit goes well with Path of Remembrance since March 7th can Freeze on her Ultimate. This allows her to maximize Remembrance Blessings, as well as take advantage of Dissociation easily. |
Yanqing | Yanqing plays well with Path of Remembrance since his follow-up attacks allow him to Freeze enemies. He will also work as a main DPS with Remembrance Blessings since they increase enemies' damage taken when Frozen. |
Pela | Pela is the best support for the Path of Remembrance since she can provide Effect Hit Rate while also being able to provide AoE DEF% reduction. |
Overall, Path of Remembrance is great for Ice Characters who can Freeze. The Path's buffs and Blessings can help them deal more damage against Frozen enemies, all while supporting it with different buffs like Dissociation and Eonian River.

This Blessing lets you Freeze enemies with ease, especially if you are using characters who have multiple hits on their skills like Sampo or Welt.
This Blessing is good to run on any Path because it applies Dissociation when you Weakness Break an enemy. It gives you extra damage and also Freezes your enemy.
If you are using an Ice character with another Path, this Blessing is a great pick-up. It allows you to apply Ice Weakness to enemies, which lets Ice characters like Yanqing or Herta Weakness Break them.
This Blessing is good to pick up while running any Path because it Freezes enemies at the start of the battle, which gives you time to set up your buffs and debuffs.
This Blessing is great to pick up if you are running Nihility characters or characters that apply debuffs since it makes them land their debuffs more easily.

In addition to Path Resonance, Resonance Interplay is a new addition available in Swarm Disaster. The Path of Elation has Resonance Interplay with both The Hunt and Destruction.
This provides its Path Resonance with a chance of decreasing the enemy's SPD and All-Type RES whenever the Freeze effect gets dispelled or resisted by enemies.

Resonance Interplay, a feature introduced in Swarm Disaster, is also available in Gold and Gears. The Path of Remembrance has Resonance Interplay with both Preservation and Propagation, which provide bonus effects after using Path Resonance.
