Simulated Universe: Unknowable Domain is an additional game mode within the Simulated Universe introduced in Version 2.6. This Simulated Universe features Scepters and Components that you can use to defeat enemies!

Best Extraploration Alignments
Break Alignment
Break is arguably the best Extraploration Alignment since their Scepters can reduce an enemy's Toughness regardless of their Weakness, making it very useful in stalling the enemy's action.
The Break Alignment can be effective even if you're not using a Break DMG team.
Ultimate or Follow-up ATK Alignment
If you still haven't unlocked the Break Alignment, use other Alignments such as Ultimate or Follow-up ATK. While their Scepters don't have Toughness Reduction, they make up for it by dealing a ton of DMG.
Both of these Alignments are more than enough to take down the earlier Difficulties.

This is the best Free-to-play team that can use Break Alignment. Use The Hunt March 7th and the Harmony Trailblazer to deal a lot of Super Break DMG to a Weakness Broken enemy.
Asta and Natasha can support the party by using buffs and healing respectively.

Use the Firefly and Trailblazer duo to implant a Fire Weakness onto enemies and deal Super Break DMG. Ruan Mei can increase Break Efficiency and delay an enemy's recovery from Break.
You can use other Break DMG DPS units like Boothill and Rappa for this team. Gallagher is also a viable Break Effect sustain.

If you haven't unlocked the Break Alignment, you can use the Ultimate Alignment with Acheron to deal a ton of AoE DMG. Use Jiaoqiu and Pela to implant debuffs and stack up Acheron's Slashed Dream.
For alternatives, you can use any character with a powerful Ultimate such as Argenti or Dan Heng. If you're not using Acheron, you can use Tingyun and Huohuo to regenerate the energy of your DPS.

The Follow-up ATK Alignment is also viable if you don't have the Break Alignment. Use Feixiao to deal a lot of single-target DMG to an enemy with her Follow-up attacks. Topaz and Robin can help Feixiao deal more Follow-up Attack DMG.
You can use Dr. Ratio as a great substitute. March 7th (Imaginary) and Moze are also viable Follow-up attack units.

Use Black Swan and Guinaifen to inflict DoTs onto enemies so that Kafka can trigger them with her Skill. Use Ruan Mei if you want the enemies to delay their recovery from Weakness Break.

Unknowable Domain Process Guide
- Select an Extrapolation Alignment
- Equip Scepters to Deal DMG
- Acquire Components and Decision Components
- Defeat the Final Boss
- Unlock Buffs, Scepters, and Components in the Cognitive Boundary
- Unlock Trailblaze Secrets
- Go Through Conundrum Mode
Select an Extrapolation Alignment
You must form a team and select an Extraploration Alignment before you start an Unknowable Domain run. Extraploration Alignments allow you to get better chances of getting specific Scepters and Components.
For example, if you chose the Ultimate Extraploration Alignment, Ultimate Scepters and Components will have a higher chance of appearing in your runs.

Equip Scepters to Deal DMG
Scepters are items you use during fights that can be activated from certain conditions to unleash powerful attacks. You will get one Scepter at the start of the run.
You can find Scepters in different domains and can only carry a maximum of three Scepters.
Modify Scepters in the Workbench of Creation
Scepters can be modified in the Workbench of Creation to be upgraded. These upgrades include having more Component slots and improved effects in battle.
Acquire Components and Decision Components
You can collect Components that can be placed on your Scepters to boost their effects in combat and increase their activation frequency.
Decision Components provide more powerful effects to your Scepters and can only be obtained by defeating the boss of a Plane. You can only equip one Decision Component on a Scepter.
Combine Low-Tier Components
Lower tier Components with the same icon can be combined to create a more powerful one. Once you've collected three Components of the same icon and rarity, these will merge into a stronger Component.
Overwrite and Synthesize Components
You can use the Workbench of Creation to Overwrite the Components you don't need for better ones, or Synthesize four Components of the same rarity to get one of a higher rarity.
Defeat the Final Boss
Like most Simulated Universe modes, you need to defeat the Final Boss to complete an Unknowable Domain run. Use the Scepters and Components you've collected to take down these powerful bosses.
Unlock Buffs, Scepters, and Components in the Cognitive Boundary
Use your Conjectures you've collected after a Unknowable Domain run in the Cognitive Boundary to unlock permanent buffs, more Scepters, and more Components.
Unlock Trailblaze Secrets
Unlock Trailblaze Secrets simply by clearing all the Unknowable Domain stages to collect rewards such as Stellar Jades and a Self-Modeling Resin.
Unknowable Domain Resets After All Secrets Are Unlocked
After collecting all of the Trailblaze Secrets, The Unknowable Domain will reset after you leave the Simulated Universe and you will start from Difficulty 0 again.
Do note that the Unknowable Domain after the reset will provide 20 Stellar Jades for clearing six Mudanite Assembly stages, so clear it if you want to know the story.
Go Through Conundrum Mode
Similarly to Gold and Gears, you can attempt Conundrum Mode after completing Someone's Mausoleum or Difficulty 5 for the first time. Each level adds modifiers that make your run a lot tougher.

How to Clear Mundanite Assembly
Mudanite Assembly can be accessed after collecting all of the 20 Trailblaze Secrets. Once all Trailblaze Secrets have been collected, the Unknowable Domain will reset. Complete the stage on the reset and you can access the Mundanite Assembly.
You can either clear all six Mundanite Assembly stages or clear one Mundanite Assembly stage six times to collect the Stellar Jade rewards.
