When using an Ascendant Floret, we recommend getting the next superboon if it fits the hero. If not, consider what stat your hero needs most.

+Def/-Spd

W!Zephiel's best IVs are +Def and -Spd. A +Def IV works best with W!Zephiels role as mixed tank. Res would be a good IV as well since it would increase Glacies' damage by a tiny bit too, but since Def is a superboon for him, you will get more stats from it in the long run. Spd is of less importance to him so it is the best bane he can take.

+Def for a +10 Merge

We recommend a +Def IV when merging W!Zephiel to 10. At +10 Merges, W!Zephiel's Def will reach 46. If you prefer a unit that can withstand more magic attacks, you can go for a +Res IV instead. When going the +Res route, you can consider inheriting Distant Counter to be able to counterattack tome users.

W!Zephiel is a close physical attacker (range = 1). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage he deals will be equivalent to his Atk minus the foe's Def stat.

W!Zephiel Strengths

Bellringer+ provides sustain

W!Zephiel's exclusive weapon, Bellringer+, heals him for 5 HP whenever he attacks an enemy regardless of who initiated the attack. It heals him even if he deals 0 damage. This helps him survive multiple attacks in the enemy phase.

Vengeful Fighter Guarantees Follow-Up Attacks and Accelerates Special

Provided that W!Zephiel's HP is at least 50%, he will make guaranteed follow-up attacks, and is granted special cooldown charge +1 per attack whenever the enemy attacks her. It is similar to the effect of Quick Riposte.

Vengeful Fighter 3 combined with W!Zephiel's kit and high defensive stats makes him a decent enemy phase unit. Make sure to pair him up with a healer for you to always meet the trigger condition.
