The best IVs for Halloween Niles are +Spd and -HP. A higher Spd stat allows Halloween Niles to get a ton of follow-up attacks on his foes. It also helps prevent foes from outspeeding him too! His HP of is less importance and thus safe to be taken as a bane.

+Spd for a +10 Merge

Halloween is a ranged physical attacker (range = 2). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage he deals will be equivalent to his Atk minus the foe's Def stat.

Halloween Niles Strengths

Fling Allies into Combat and Buff Them Simultaneously!

Atk/Spd Link 3 buffs Halloween Niles and any ally who uses a movement-assist skill or receives one from Niles by +6 Atk/Spd. Since Halloween Niles has access to Smite, he can make use of this skill to push an ally deep into enemy danger zones while providing them with buffs.

Likewise, Niles can receive a movement-assist skill from an ally and get the benefits of the Atk/Spd buff! Combined with Swift Sparrow 2, Niles gets a massive +10 Atk/Spd boost.

Buff Armored Units' Defenses

Halloween Nile's C skill, Fortify Armor boosts adjacent armored units' Def/Res by +6. It is powerful and pretty easy to trigger, and this makes Halloween Niles a good candidate for a support unit in armored-emblem teams.

It is also rare to see a armored bow unit like Halloween Niles. As a blue armored bow unit, he can fill-in very specific niche spots no other unit can! Because of this, we recommend that you do not fodder him off.

Can Fill-in as a Support Unit!

In addition to Atk/Spd Link 3, Halloween has access to Fortify Armor. It is a very easy-to-use skill that grants adjacent armored allies +6 Def/Res at the start of the turn. When used in conjunction with the rest of his skills, Halloween Niles can grant a total of +6 Atk/Spd/Def/Res upon using Smite to fling an armored ally to an ideal position for taking down foes!

Halloween Niles Weaknesses

Armored movement!

Halloween Niles enjoys the high stats of an armored unit, but this means that he suffers from armored movement as well. Without the use of proper Sacred Seals like Armored Boots and skills like Armored March 3, he will be crippled by very limited movement. It will be most likely that the enemy will get to her first before she is able to initiate. If that is the case, he will be unable to trigger both Swift Sparrow 2 or Brave Bow+ if you choose to inherit that skill onto Halloween Niles.
