How to Clear Flopping by the Water
Hit Pidgeot with a Fluffruit
Once you enter the lake area of the course, Pidgeot will fly overhead and land on the path. It will then make its way towards the cliffs.
Toss a Fluffruit at the Pidgeot as it perches on the cliff, making sure the fruit hits the Pidgeot.
Wait for Pidgeot to Land on the Tree
After you hit the Pidgeot with the Fluffruit, it will fly up in the sky and eventually land on top of the tree found near the Magikarp.
Make Magikarp Jump
Throw a Fluffruit next to Magikarp to make it jump. Pidgeot should spot the Magikarp and start flying once again.
Take a Photo of Magikarp as Soon as the Pidgeot Snatches It
Ready your camera and wait for Pidgeot to swoop down and snatch the Magikarp. Note that the subject Pokemon should be Magikarp, not Pidgeot.
Be sure to take the photo quickly since the action only lasts for a few seconds.
Take a Photo of Magikarp Being Carried Away
If you missed the shot, you can still take a photo of Magikarp as it is being carried away by the Pidgeot to complete the request.
Reward for Clearing Flopping by the Water
Eye 7
The Eye 7 sticker is obtained after completing the Flopping by the Water request and can be used when editing photos.

Anonymous over 4 yearsIt also works if you get a photo of pigeot flying away with magikarp if you aren’t fast enough to get him being picked up. Magikarp has to be the photo focus though.
