Play the Melody to Wake Up Tropius
Start River (Night) at Research Level 2 and proceed through the course until you find the Tropius sleeping alongside the Morelulls. Play the Melody for the Morelulls to react, waking up Tropius in the process. Take its photo waking up to obtain Tropius's 3 Star photo.

Overhead Friends
Capture a 4-Star Photo of Tropius by following the steps to completing the Overhead Friends request. As Tropius flies over you, use your zoom to take a close-up photograph of the Pokemon.
