A Sleeping Swampert
To take a 1 Star photo of Swampert, go to Jungle (Night) research-level 2 and enter the second alternate path. As you pass through the waterfall, you'll find two sleeping Swampert next to each other. Take a close-up shot of one of them to achieve 1 Star Diamond.

Hit by a Fluffruit
Repeat the steps on how to get a 1 Star photo of Swampert. Once you are closer to Swampert, hit it with a Fluffruit. Take a close-up shot of a flinching Swampert to achieve 2 Star Diamond.

A Startled Swampert
For a 3 Star photo of Swampert, follow the steps below.
| 1 | Before taking the first alternate path in the Jungle (Night) course research-level 2, pause the game and go to settings. Use the Burst mode and change it to 6 photos. You'll need this to achieve the 3 Star Diamond pose of Swampert. |

| 2 |  Once you are all set up, continue your research and hit Leafeon with a Fluffruit. This will trigger Leafeon and the Bounsweets to take the alternate path. |
| 3 |  While you are entering the tall grass, play a Melody until the Ariados in the trees slide down and startle Leafon and the Bounsweets. |
| 4 | Once Leafeon and the Bounsweets started running, focus your camera on the lake and take a photo of Swampert while it is jumping out. Take plenty of photos as this will give you a higher chance of getting a 3 Star Diamond. |

Playing with Leafeon
For a 4 Star photo of Swampert, follow the steps on how to get 3 Star. Once Swampert landed and looked at Leafeon, throw an Illumina Orb at it. This will prompt Swampert to splash water on Leafeon. Take a nice photo of them playing in the lake to achieve 4 Star Diamond.

CCX over 4 yearsThe easiest way to get a 3-star is to use the Melody ro awaken the three Ledian earlier in the course and hit them with Illumina Balls, then take the Alternate Route behind the waterfall. The Swampert behind the waterfall will be awake, and a picture of it watching the Ledians' performance will be 3 stars. This also provides an alternate method of obtaining the 4-star picture. Once the Ledian have left, toss a Fluffruit and take a picture of Swampert eating it.
