In the area where you find Slaking, you'll also find Beautifly flying and will go near you. Use the scan on Beautifly and take a close-up shot to achieve 2 Star Diamond.

For a 3 Star photo of Beautifly, repeat the steps on how to get a 2 Star photo. But instead of using the scan, throw a Flufftruit at it. Wait for it to look at you and take a close-up shot to achieve 3 Star Diamond.

Take a photo of Beautifly while it is sipping the nectar from Venusaur's flower to achieve a 4 Star. To do this, look for the Beautifly in a tree near the lake. As soon as you find Beautifly, focus your camera on it and use the Scan.
Beautifly will then transfer on the right side, where you can find Venusaur. Once it reached the right side, scan Beautifly again to make it stop flying away. Then, immediately throw an Illumina Orb at Venusaur to make Beautifly go near it. Take a close-up shot of Beautifly, to achieve 4 Star Diamond.
