Should You Pull for [Snow Flower’s Vow] Shizu?
Yes, Pull for Her If You Are Building a Crimson Team
Spring Shizu offers a blend of high damage output, debuff utility, and self-buff. If you are looking for a Crimson high-damage dealer with tactical debuffs and are willing to manage her self-damage mechanic and invest in an UR gear set, Spring Shizu is worth pulling and creating a Crimson team for Tower of Crimson or other PvE content. You can use her in a team with Artoria and Morgana.
Needs Multiple Copies
As a debuffer, you can get one copy to utilize the SPD debuff. However, if you want to use her as a designated attacker, you would want to awaken her to at least UR so she can use use her Unique Weapon and utilize her skill multipliers. Her Unique Weapon at UR increases the "Tamamizu-Wari" skill's damage equal to 1520% of her attack and can go up to 2280% if the enemy's HP is higher than Spring Shizu's HP.
Deals a SPD Debuff to Enemies
Spring Shizu's "Issen Shirohagoromo" is an active skill that deals damage to enemies at random. As part of this skill, she has a 70% chance to decrease all target's SPD by 15% for 2 turns.
If Spring Shizu's team encounters Meria or Primavera, who gives their team 10% and 2% SPD buff respectively, there is a 70% chance that Spring Shizu can nullify any benefit from those buffs.
Targets Characters with Counter
Spring Shizu's passive skill, My Desire to Bloom, increases the damage that the enemy with the highest Counter takes by 10% for 1 turn. If this target's DEF is lower than Spring Shizu's it decreases the same target by 20%. This may apply to characters like Ophelia and Fia.
Pull for Arcana
Spring Shizu has "Gru's Camellia" Arcana and belong to an Arcana group with Claudia. This bonus increases these characters' STA and P.CRIT DMG Cut. This applies to all characters and can get up to 3000 STA and 10% P. CRIT DMG Cut if you unlock this Arcana at LR+5.
Pull If You Collect Witches
Shizu is the first N character that has a different/alternate version. There are only 4 N characters namely Charlotte, Garmr, Monica and Shizu.
Pull If You Like Her Story
Shizu's sword training reveals her skills are declining, causing her great distress as he fears she failed her duty to protect the Duke. She reminisced her difficult past, seeking her family's approval through swordsmanship, but ultimately finding acceptance only with the Duke. Now, her failing skills threaten her ability to repay the Duke's kindness. She pushes herself through painful training, her injuries reopening, driven by her father's critical words about a samura's worth being tied to their skill with a blade.

When Not To Pull For [Snow Flower’s Vow] Shizu
If You Are a Beginner
As a beginner, you should focus on standard characters that can help you progress through the Main Quest. However, if you liked Spring Shizu's overall aesthetic and skill set, feel free to pull for her.
Self-Damage Mechanic
Spring Shizu's self-damage mechanic is risky. Hurting herself with every active skill makes her more vulnerable. Despite having a [Multi-Barrier], you might need a character with healing or more shield to keep her alive. If you don't like this kind of play style, we discourage pulling for her.
Lack Resources to Build Spring Shizu
Spring Shizu is a great Crimson attacker but she needed a lot of investment in terms of gear to fully utilize her ATK buff. She will need at least a full Michael gear set to give her 16% ATK, 20% STA and 5000 DEF Break. If you are not set on building her, it might be wise to not pull for her at this time.
