Soul Bonuses and When to Use Them

When You Lack the Best Characters

Acquiring a few of the best characters in the game, like Florence or Cordie, might not be guaranteed on your first reroll. You might even need to reroll for them.

If you want to work on the characters you get without the rerolls, you can focus on powering up your team with Soul Bonuses. Soul Bonuses significantly boost your character's HP and ATK, making them good enough for your early game until you can get the best characters.

When You Need a Good Boost for the Main Quest

Often, players overpower their enemies in the Main Quest. Still, when they reach Chapter 11 onwards, it gets harder to dominate the enemies, and they may even need to level up their characters to do more damage. The Soul Bonuses can help enhance the team's HP and ATK power while increasing their Player Rank.

Paladea, one of the limited characters, has a skill that requires 3 other Chaos types to be fully utilized. You can use her excellent passive and gain the offensive levity of 3 or more Chaos soul bonuses. Paladea, in this scenario, makes the Chaos soul bonus not optional but something that will significantly help your Chaos team.

When Enemies are Soul-themed

You can only use a specific Soul with Tower of Infinity's Soul towers. The soul bonus is automatically activated to have 25% HP and 25% ATK Boost.

Soul Affinity is the character's type or element determining their strength and weakness against another character. It's similar to the rules of rock paper scissors. Knowing the soul affinity of your character and enemies gives you an advantage in battles through a Soul Bonus.
