In MementoMori, Guild Battle is where guilds fight over bases on the map against rival guilds! Read on to find out Guild Battle's mechanics, tips on winning Guild Battle, and what kind of rewards are in store for you.
List of Contents

Guild Battle is where the top 16 guilds by Guild Stock Ranking can duke it out against each other for dominance over strategic Churches, Castles, and Temples.
When a guild holds these points, its members are entitled to rewards like Gold, Upgrade Water, Guild Coins, and various Pots that have their various rewards (like Bronze/Silver/Gold chests). Churches are the smallest bases a guild can get, while the sole Temple base "Brussel" is the biggest. The bigger the base a guild holes, the more rewards a guild gets.
Taking a point from a rival guild is not the end, however, as your guild will have to defend it from other guilds that will want to take the point for themselves. To successfully attack to get more strategic points and defend points you already hold, your guild has to strategize and work together.

Guild Battle is divided into two phases: the Strategy Phase and the War Phase. In the Strategy Phase, your guild can declare attacks on enemy bases and decide which bases you already hold that will be defended.
This is where you will likely see messages in your guild chat indicating which base - or bases - you should stack your siege or defense teams on. Once your guild has declared bases it will attack, head to the Guild Battle map and stack your teams on enemy bases marked for siege. If you’re instructed to defend instead, check which bases your guild already controls and stack your teams there to help fend off incoming attacks.
When the War Phase comes, this is where the actual fighting begins. If your besieging teams overpower an enemy base's defenders, you get that base. If the enemy overpowers your defenders, they get your base. However, in both cases, the losing guild always has the option to Counter for the next 15 minutes after the base has been captured. Defenders and attackers are switched up, and the losing guild can funnel more reinforcements toward the base in hopes of driving attackers out.
The Strategy Phase happens between 7:45 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. (20:30) server time, while the War Phase happens between 8:45 p.m. (20:45) to 9:30 p.m. (21:30). Depending on your role in the guild, you might want to be online during the War Phase to quickly send reinforcements to bases that need more defenders.

A guild can only declare attacks on up to two bases per day, and those bases will have to be next to bases your guild already controls. If your guild does not own any bases, it can only declare attacks on Churches, the smallest kind of base in Guild Battle.
If your guild wants to attack Castles, it will have to have control of at least two churches. If your guild wants to attack the Temple in the middle of the map, it will have to own at least one castle.
Also, not just anyone in our guild can declare attacks. Only the Master, Chief, Commanders, and Veterans can declare attacks, and this can further depend on what kind of internal setup your guild has.

Once all the Sieges and Defenses are over and done with, guild members will be able to get their rewards by 4:00 a.m. (Server Time) until 3:59 a.m. the next day.
The rewards will depend on what bases your guild still controls by 4:00 a.m., and any unclaimed rewards will be forfeited so don't forget to claim your hard-earned loot.

You are most likely to be able to join Guild Battle if you join one of the top 16 guilds in your world by Guild Stock. These guilds will likely have their own specifics as to who gets to join or not.
Also, if you join a guild after it has won a Guild Battle but before the rewards for that day have been distributed, you won’t be eligible to receive the rewards.

Only guilds with the highest Guild Stock can participate in Guild Battle. If your guild is not among the top 16 guilds in your world, then you will have to do tasks such as progressing through the main quest (doing quick battles, clearing individual quests), winning in the Battle League, and simply logging in to your guild and doing Guild Raids.

Always keep an eye out for any announcement in your in-game chat's Guild tab or your guild's Discord (if it has one), as these are most likely where your guild's officials will let the rest of the team know where your guild will attack.
If you will help your guild besiege a base, use units that have the best gear and the highest rarity. These can simply be the strongest units you currently have on hand for either PvE or PvP, or a specific team you use just for Guild Battle (though this requires more setup). Be careful not to use these units for defending bases.
Try using the Gear Lock feature for Guild Battle so that you can lock in a specific set of gear for your character just for this mode. This way, you can save your time re-equipping your units every time you switch from PvE/PvP to Guild Battle.
| 1 | ![]() In either the Character Roster, Battle League, or Guild Battle menus, look for the "Lock" button. |
|---|---|
| 2 | ![]() On the left-hand side of the Lock Gear menu, pick either League or Guild Battle, then tap "Lock Gear" in the middle of the screen. |
| 3 | ![]() You will then be asked to confirm this choice. |
| 4 | ![]() The state of your characters' Gear has now been locked for Guild Battle/Grand Battle. If you need to unlock your witch's gear for this mode again, you will need to wait 5 minutes. |
To defend your bases, you should deploy smaller teams (1-3 characters each, depending on the base).
Save your best units for the offensive, and focus on deploying tanky units with abilities like Counter (Ophelia can be very good for this) that will be annoying for besiegers to deal with. Pretend like you are forming a Defense team in Battle League, but only with 3 characters.
You can deploy 5 characters per defense team if you wish, but it could be a waste of your Stamina (the points you use to deploy units for siege and defense) and units in general, especially if you have multiple bases to defend.
Each of your characters has 2 stamina for deployment, with each deployment costing 1 stamina. You can redeploy your fodder for another round to make a loop on defending your bases.
If you can't participate in the Guild Battle, send in fodders in advance to help the guild have a loop of teams that can slow down the enemy from taking the base. Make sure to follow your GM or Chief's instructions.
