Stats Explained - MementoMori

Stats affect both the damage output and survivability of your witches in MementoMori. Read on to learn the different stats for your witches.

Stats Explained

Potentials Explained

Potential Battle Stats Affected Description
STR P. DEF
ACC
Increases ATK for Warrior type Witches.
DEX EVD
CRIT
Increases ATK for Sniper type Witches.
MAG M. DEF
Debuff ACC
Increases ATK for Sorcerers type Witches.
STA HP
CRIT RES
This stat increases your unit's survivability.

Potentials are the four main stats in MementoMori, and the first three stats will affect your character's ATK (Attack) depending on what type of witch they are. The fourth stat, STA, is a general-purpose stat that increases your witch's hit points and chance to resist critical hits, providing survivability regardless of what type of witch your unit is.

Battle Stats Explained

Battle Stat Explanation
HP A character will be defeated if their HP drops to 0 in battle.

Debuff RES The higher the number, the lower the chance to be inflicted with an enemy skill's debuff.
Counter Deals damage to the enemy depending on the damage taken from them.
HP Drain Restores HP depending on the damage dealt to the enemy.

The 19 Battle Stats in MementoMori determine factors like just how much damage your witch will deal in battle, how much damage your witch will resist from an enemy attack and the order in which it will make moves during battle.

There are ways to increase most of these stats, but deciding which stat to increase first will depend on the unit's role during battle and the availability of your own resources. In most cases, SPD and PM DEF Break are the most important battle stats to increase your character, since high SPD and PM Def Break can help your units deal massive amounts of damage in the quickest time possible.

How to Increase Your Witches' Stats

Level Up Your Units

Leveling up - MementoMori

The most basic way of increasing your unit's stats is to level them up. Leveling up your units increases their battle power, HP, and other stats. It's recommended that you level up your units regularly, and to prioritize which character to level up first to make good use of your leveling resources like EXP and Kindling Orbs.

Attach Runes to Your Witches' Gear

Runes - MementoMori

Each piece of equipment can be fitted with Runes, which increase specific Battle Stats such as ATK, SPD, PM DEF Break, STA, and HP. These runes can give your witches sharp advantages through increased damage vs enemies, or higher evasiveness and defensiveness.

Augment Your Witches' Gear

Augmenting Gear - MementoMori

Yet another way to increase the stat bonuses your witches get from their equipment is Augmentation. Augmentation involves using pieces of Holy and Dark gear to enhance your own witches' gear, unlocking new stat bonuses such as increased PM. DEF Break, increased ATK or ATK%, or increased CRIT DMG.

Reforge Your Gear

Reforging Gear - MementoMori

Reforging is the process of redistributing the stat bonuses a piece of gear is giving your witch. These stats can be redirected to one or two stats, giving your units a sharper increase in those stats than if you did not reforge your gear. But note that it's not recommended for everyone to reforge their gear right away.
