Should You Automatically Release N Characters - MementoMori

Releasing N characters can net you Kindling Orbs and character coins you can use at the Shop. Read on to find out whether or not you should release N characters automatically and how to do it.

Should You Automatically Release N Characters?

Release N Characters to Get More Kindling Orbs, Character Coins

How to Switch Worlds Step 1 - MementoMori

The primary reason you should automatically release N characters is to get Kindling Orbs and Character Coins. Kindling Orbs are used to level up your witches, while Character Coins are used to buy shards from the Shop. Automatically releasing N characters can give you a slight boost in both these resources whenever you pull from one of the game's invocation banners.

Leave At Least One of Each N Character For Guild Battles

If you need more witches for defense during Guild Battles, you can keep 1 of each N rarity character and then release the rest.

Releasing N Characters Frees Up Character Roster Space

How to Switch Worlds Step 1 - MementoMori

Another reason you should automatically release N characters is to free up space in your Character Roster. In MementoMori, space for your characters is limited, and more space can only be bought with diamonds. So, to avoid spending diamonds for space, consider automatically releasing N characters to keep your roster slots vacant.

N Characters Are Weaker Compared to R and SR Characters

How to Switch Worlds Step 1 - MementoMori

Another reason you should release your N characters is that they're generally weaker than your R and SR characters since they only have two skill slots (as opposed to 3 skill slots for R characters and 4 skill slots for SR characters) and also have a relatively low-level cap (Lv. 100) compared to higher rarity characters.

You won't be using them as much compared to SR and even R characters, so it may be better to release them automatically as you get them.

How to Automatically Release N Characters?

1
In the 'Character' screen, go to the Awaken tab and tap on the 'Release' button in the top right-hand corner of the screen.
2
You'll end up in the Release screen. Here, tap on the box that says 'Automatically Release N Characters'.
3
To release the N characters you already have, tap the 'Select All' button, then tap the 'Release' button at the bottom of the Release screen.
4
Once you've released your N characters, you'll get your reward of Character Coins and Kindling Orbs.
