How to Augment Gear

Raise Your Gear's Holy and Dark Levels

Augmenting Gear strengthens it by increasing its Holy and Dark Level. To achieve this, you can sacrifice other Gear imbued with a holy or dark level. However, Gear with runes attached cannot be used as material.

During augmentation, Gear with Holy and Dark effects creates gears with additional Holy and Dark bonuses specific to the body part it's designed for. It's worth noting that a piece of Gear may be augmented with both Holy and Dark Effects.

How to Augment Gear

1	Go to your Character's Character Growth page and click a gear.
2	Select Augment from the left-side buttons.
3	Select a material for augmenting either by clicking the + or the Auto-Select.
4	A window will pop out and you can choose your materials. The materials that can be selected is a Dark Perfume or Holy and Dark Gears.
5	Select Augment afterwards.
6	Your Gear is now augmented with Dark or Holy Effects.

Unlocking Augments

The Augment function unlocks when you clear Main Quest 6-20. Each item augment costs 1000 Gold, 7000 for the whole 7 slots.

Updated Augment Features

Announced during the Version 2.17.0 Update, an Auto-Select feature for Augmenting Gear was implemented on June 28, 2024. This feature makes choosing materials for Augmenting Holy or Dark Gear easier.

After clearing Main Quest 14-4, you will be able to automatically select either Dark or Holy materials exclusively to Dark or Holy Auto-select or use Set Holy/Dark Lv to automatically select materials based on the Holy or Dark Augmentation level you wish to reach.

Getting Dark Equipment Using Base Gears

Dark Gear

If you have many base gears from the Main Quest or Guild Raid, you can use the Smelt All function to smelt these gear and it can give you the chance to obtain Dark Gear. This can help you increase your Dark lvl while you farm Dark Perfume.

Can I Augment Both Dark and Holy Equipment In 1 Gear?

Technically, you can augment both dark and holy equipment in 1 gear. However, that will be a waste of resources. Focus on augmenting Dark Equipment to the armor (body) to get the DEF Break stat, then augment holy equipment to the gloves (hands) and the weapon to get CRIT DMG Boost and ATK %.
