The ATK rune is essential for her damage scaling. Both Tempesta Avida and Elegant Waltz scale heavily off ATK, and higher ATK lets her win ATK comparisons for bonus multipliers. Then CRIT rune also complements DEX rune by amplifying her burst potential. CRIT damage synergizes perfectly with her kit, since her support effects trigger off crits. As for her defensive runes, she could do well with HP and CRIT RES runes to extend her survivability, and reduces the chance of being burst down by enemy crits.

This Chaos team functions as a crit-fueled debuff team. Festive Natasha serves as the primary DPS and debuffer, applying poison and aggravation while dealing consistent damage. Her sustained output benefits directly from Regina's ATK buffs and CRIT synergy, making her damage-over-time effects more threatening.

Kaguya complements this by acting as a debuffer, reducing enemy ATK/DEF while boosting ally crit chance and damage. Lunalynn provides damage mitigation and debuffs to keep the team alive. Cerberus plays the role of executioner, capitalizing on weakened enemies to deliver finishing blows. Regina ties the team together as a hybrid support. Her Precious Remnant skill fuels ally cooldown reductions and ATK buffs, while her defensive skills sustains the team.

High-Investment Carry

If you want to use Regina as a DPS, you need to maximize her ATK so that she can act as a specialized assassin for taking out the enemy's most dangerous units. She can be used in PvP or the main quests to delete the two highest-threat enemies.

Her Elegant Waltz skill deals a massive 2280% physical attack to the two enemies with the highest ATK, provided she wins the "Stat Check" (having higher base ATK than them).

As Sub-DPS / Debuffer

In scenarios where you have a stronger main attacker, Regina shifts into a support-slayer role. This can be standard PvE stages where you need to soften up the enemy frontline. Her Tempesta Àvida hits 5 random targets and applies a 30% damage-taken increase for 4 turns. This enables your main carry to finish them off more easily.

For this role, Regina needed to tune her SPD runes so she is faster than the main carry. If she hits first, she applies the 30% damage-increase debuff, and then your carry hits the softened targets for higher damage.

As Utility Support

Regina can manipulate the flow of battle by reducing cooldown to the strongest ally. This is for long battles or Guild Raids where your main carry has a powerful skill with a long cooldown.

On Turn 3, if you team has landed at least 5 critical hits, her Precious Remnant skill reduces the skill cooldown of your strongest ally by 2 turns, allowing them to use their ultimate skill again immediately.

Pair her with multi-hitters to ensure those 5 CRIT hits happen quickly. This allows your carry to use their ultimate skill quickly.

As an Off-Tank

Regina is not a traditional tank, but she possesses a damage-reduction mechanic. Her My Treasure skill is her primary tanking tool. As long as she has stacks of [Memory Remnant], she cuts all incoming damage by 75%.

She starts with 10 stacks and loses 1 at the start of every turn. This means she is nearly unkillable for the first 10 turns, but her tankiness evaporates once the stacks run out.

At the start of each turn, if Regina is enhanced with [Memory’s Remnant], the stack count of her [Memory’s Remnant] is depleted by 1, and this skill increases the ATK of the 2 allies with the highest ATK by 15% for 1 turn.

The number of stacks of [Memory’s Remnant] granted by this skill becomes 10. Additionally, at the start of the 3rd turn, if the total number of critical hits dealt by Regina and her allies’ attacks during battle is 5 or more, the stack count of Regina’s [Memory’s Remnant] is depleted by 4, and this skill decreases the skill cooldown time of the ally with the highest ATK by 2.
