MementoMori's main quests are split into chapters, and in each chapter, there are some especially difficult boss fights. Read this walkthrough to find out which teams you can use to clear Chapter 9, what enemies you'll face, and strategies for defeating them.

Best Team to Clear Chapter 9

If you have this team or one similar to it, you should be able to clear the entire chapter without issues.

This team will have enough firepower to punch through all the enemies in Chapter 9, courtesy of Florence. However, you'll need to make sure that Florence is equipped with the proper runes (SPD, PM. DEF Break, and ACC or CRIT if you have the resources). You should also make sure that her gear is fully upgraded.

Chapter 9 is also where Reforging gets unlocked, where you can reroll the stats each piece of gear will boost. Once you get the opportunity to do so, reforge Florence's gear to give her massive boosts in STR and STA.

As for the other witches, just make sure they're all equipped properly. If you can spare the runes, give some ATK runes to Olivia so her buffs come off strong. Prioritize leveling up Florence to 140, then level up the other witches according to personal preference. We decided to level up Merlyn first, followed by Soltina or Primavera, then Olivia. Ideally, everyone should already be by Lvl. 120 by the end of the chapter.

Amleth

In this chapter, Cordie is a good alternative for Florence, especially if you want to cut down on buying Diamonds (since copies of Cordie can be bought from the Shop with in-game currency). Make sure to give her a stack of SPD and PM. DEF Break runes like how you would fit Florence with, though you may also want to give Cordie ACC Runes as well so none of her shots miss.

Amleth is also still rather viable, though Chapters 8-9 are where you're better off focusing on Cordie or Florence as your main Attackers. Amleth's still good as a secondary attacker and retaliator, though. So might want to use her instead of other support characters in the party.

Mertillier

There are quests where you'll encounter healers like Freesia, so bringing Amour along for her Blight debuff is a good idea. Mertillier can also be brought along, though make sure that she lives long enough to use her Maintenance skill and give your main attacker a huge attack boost.

Tips and Strategies

Nullify Monica's Healing With Amour

Monica can keep the battle longer than it should be by healing Soltina, so bring along Amour so she can inflict the Blight debuff on them and nullify Monica's healing abilities.

Be Careful of Loki's Silence Debuff

Loki can inflict a Silence debuff with her first skill, 'Honey Trap', which can delay your main attacker's first move and leave your party open to attack.

Though there's only a 30 percent chance of it happening, you might want to put Primavera in front of Loki and give her SPD runes. That way, Primavera can move first and potentially inflict a Faint debuff on Loki, preventing her from using Honey Trap.

Tips and Strategies

Florence Will Overwhelm Soltina's Shields

Soltina's main gimmick is casting multiple barriers that can absorb a lot of attacks. But fortunately, Florence can overwhelm her shields eventually. Just make sure that you've boosted Florence's stats for maximum effectiveness. Bring along your own Soltina too so she can inflict Faint debuffs along with Primavera.

Tips and Strategies

Make Sure to Optimize Florence's SPD

Giving your Florence SPD runes will make the difference in this battle as she will be able to strike first and take out almost all the enemies except Soltina right at the onset. There's still a chance that Loki will Silence her, however, but Florence should be able to win in most attempts.
