If you don't have the resources to level Illya up, you can use her as a secondary attacker in your party that can retaliate after taking damage. The danger is that［The Witch of God’s Curse］Illya may end up using up her one revive and then die shortly after, so it's better to bring along witches who can take a beating like Soltina.

If you have the resources to level up Illya sufficiently, you can use her as a main attacker for your party. However, it will hinge on her activating the God's Curse Unleashed buff.
So to enable her to survive until the conditions are met, pair her with witches that can soak up damage like Soltina and Nina, as well as witches that debuff the enemy's attack power like Hathor. Dian is also a good choice to bring along since she can boost［The Witch of God’s Curse］Illya's EVD, increasing her survivability even further.

Powerful Retaliator With Some Setup Involved
Cursed Witch Illya is great for retaliation against powerful enemies, though it does require the right team setup. You'll need to pair her with witches that can take more than a few blows, and others who can boost her defensive or evasive capabilities.
Once your party has taken 10 hits or has been wiped out with only Illya remaining, her buff God's Curse Unleashed becomes activated, which eliminates the cooldown of her powerful active skill God Curses the Light. Once her active skills are more accessible, Illya becomes better able to wipe out an enemy party.
Has Her Own Accuracy Self-Buffs
Her Surge of Providence skill raises her ACC and in turn enables her to unleash a flurry of attacks. This makes sure that none of her attacks miss the enemy, especially when she finally gets her God's Curse Unleashed buff activated and going.
