| Character | Tier / Explanation |
|---|---|
Regina
• She can provide +50% Max HP and cooldown reduction. She makes the carry survive the first hit, and fire the big skill a second time. |
Kobel
• With her Unique weapon, she provides a massive, undispellable team-wide HP boost. She can be pretty good to pair with Yildiz for her HP boost stack that also enhances a carry's ATK and Chance to hit. |
Myrlennia
• As support, her only job is to shred M.DEF for magic-based ally. However, her shred only starts at 5% per stack. |
Liberia
• Her Turn 1 DEF-to-ATK conversion is a potential power spike for her attacker allies. • Her colldown reset allows her to strip buffs more frequently. |
Winter Stella
• She is a conditional support. Her value is entirely tied to how much your team needs M.DEF reduction and Silence. |
Sage Merlyn
• Sage Merlyn cna punish the enemies that debuffs her. If her team gets hit with 5% debuffs, she grants her carries with an undispellable 50% ATK buff and starts clearing the status effects immediately. • If you run an Azure team, she provides a massive, safe ATK boost. |
Ayse
• Her value comes from her ability to strip turns off enemy buff. However, she provides zero survivability to her team, so she much be paired with a real defensive support to be viable. |
Liebe
• Liebe provides undispellable ATK buffs that scale with the number of debuffs on the enemy. Her best disruption is locked behind a strict mono-Crimson team requirement which limits her flexibility. |

MementoMori challenges players with diverse scenarios across PvE modes (Main Quest, Guild Raid, Tower of Infinity, Tower of Souls) and the more demanding PvP battles. Support units are evaluated not only for their ability to sustain and empower allies in long PvE fights, but also for their adaptability and impact in competitive team setups.
For support units, we factored in a specific criteria depending on the character's role. We ask questions like:
Additionally, we assessed how flexible each character is, whether they fit into many team compositions or require a specific setup to perform well.
A support ranked S is a unit that provides either consistent healing, buffs, or crowd control that make the team powerful in each modes, while a C-tier unit may have little utility compared to others.
All rankings assume characters have been upgraded to LR rarity. We excluded all N-rarity and most R-rarity characters due to their limited utility.
| The best supports across both PvE and PvP. They provide consistent healing, buffs, and/or debuffs that make them indispensable in campaign progression and competitive play. | |
| Reliable supports with useful skills, though they may have flaws (e.g., weaker scaling, reliance on positioning). Still valuable into mid-game and competitive matches. | |
| Usable supports that can carry early/mid-game PvE, but are quickly outclassed. In PvP, they may serve as filler but rarely define a strategy. | |
| Weak supports with little utility compared to others. Not recommended for serious PvE or PvP, though they may have minor uses in early progression. | |
| When a character is ranked with a "+", it means that they have a special niche and/or synergy with another unit that makes them a cut above other witches in normal ranks without the "+" sign. This is to account for witches that perform well whenever they are placed in a certain team comp but do middling or bad performance otherwise. |
| Role | Function |
|---|---|
| Main DPS | ・The main carry of the party and is expected to deal the most damage. ・Most teams are created around supporting this character in some way. |
| Secondary DPS | ・A member of the team that can deal heavy damage to enemies, but not as much as Main DPSs due to either lower hit count or investment. ・Secondary DPSs can sometimes overlap with Support units as they sometimes have their own buffs or debuffs while also inflicting damage on the enemy (e.g., Sivi). |
| Support | ・A character that is supposed to support the main DPS/secondary DPSs by giving them buffs, inflicting debuffs on the enemy, protecting the DPSes from damage, etc. |

|---|---|
Primavera
• Primavera is a widely-used support character in PvP due to a mix of high SPD, decent and simple debuffing (just put her in front of an enemy you want to Faint), and good offensive capabilities as a secondary DPS. |
Meria
• A versatile support that's initially low investment and only gets better if you choose to awaken her further. She protects the ally with the highest ATK (likely the team's main DPS carry) with Multi-Barrier and, if you have her unique weapon at UR rarity, she can give her team a 10% SPD buff (provided that three of them have the same soul type). |
Festive Natasha
• Festive Natasha is a semi-permanent fixture on many Chaos teams because of her tanking abilities (via her damage cut buff), debuffs (enemies take +50% continuous damage and can also get Poisoned), and ATK/HP buffs for all allies. This makes her synergize well with Chaos heavyweights Illya (who needs to survive 10 hits before activating her passive) and Paladea (who needs to stack critical hits to activate her passive). • What makes this better is that Festive Natasha is no slouch either as a secondary DPS. |
Uniform A.A.
• One of the best supports in PvP currently due to her ability to give allies shields that are equal to 100% of their HP, effectively giving them second life bars. If you are planning to go into high-level PvP, she is a great support and good secondary DPS that can be pretty useful when dealing with enemies covered with Multi-Barriers. |

|---|---|
Artie
• Artie is a hard witch to crack with her CRIT RES buffs, self-healing, Damage Cut, and virtual Force Field (if she takes damage that's more than 5% of her HP, the damage is cut by 70%). • She's also a good debuffer when paired with any Sorcerer-type units (she can debuff enemies' M. DEF by up to 40% while also increasing the damage they take by 20%). |
Sivi
• For teams that rely on ramping damage/waiting until a specific moment to deal damage, Sivi is a good support unit. Her first active skill gives ramping Damage buffs depending on how much damage she and her allies take, while her second active skill cleanses her allies' debuffs. This is all on top of the DEF and P. DEF buffs from her first passive skill. • The only caveat is that she gives these buffs to the three allies with the lowest SPD, which could be done if you have one unit with top SPD and your main DPSs retain their base SPD. |
Cordie
• If you have her unique weapon, even at base rarity, she becomes one of the better PvP support units in the game (that's even within reach of F2P players) because of her 80% DEF debuff. It only gets better if the unique weapon's rarity is raised to UR; the debuff lasts for two turns. |
Merlyn
• One of the best single-target support units in PvE and in PvP, she's no slouch either. The chance to deal a critical hit buff/cleanse/healing combo she offers to allies can still make a difference in battle. So much so that even top players still use her in their teams. |
Tama
• Amber teams will want Tama because of her functionality as a hybrid buffer and debuffer. • She gives the party's main DPS carry an 80% ACC buff, a shield that can be equal to 80% of their HP (or 600% of Tama's ATK if they're an Amber), and Mini Tama Doll buffs that protect their current buffs from getting dispelled or stolen. • Meanwhile, she makes the enemy take more damage via a DEF and P. DEF debuff from her second active skill. • All these combined, Tama becomes a useful protector and buffer for Amber DPSs. |
Yildiz
• Yildiz is able to provide P. CRIT DMG, DEF, and P. DEF buffs to the ally with the highest ATK. • She eventually becomes a strong support, especially to Emerald teams, especially for Cordie, when she has her unique weapon at UR rarity. • Apart from this, she is able to provide great support utility even at 1 copy since her buffing and debuffing effectiveness do not depend on her stats. |
Carmilla
• Good debuffer and sub-attacker, especially for Chaos comps. • Can decrease the PM Def Break of the fastest unit in the enemy team, as well as inflict [Bleed] or [Enfeeble] on multiple enemy targets |
Kobel
• With her Unique weapon, she provides a massive, undispellable team-wide HP boost. She can be pretty good to pair with Yildiz for her HP boost stack that also enhances a carry's ATK and Chance to hit. |

|---|---|
Fia
• Park up two units next to her to boost their max HP by up to 50% if she has her unique weapon. • Popular to use with Emerald units or other DPSs you want to boost the HP of. • Only one of two units in-game has this ability (the other one is Fenny). |
Rusalka
• Debuffs her enemies' ATK by 15% for 2 turns (if she has her unique weapon at base; just one turn if she doesn't). • When she revives herself, she provides all her allies with 1 layer of Multi-Barrier. |
Matilda
• A decent support for your DPS. She can raise their ATK, chance to deal a critical hit, and chance to be hit by up to 50% for one turn (up to 4 turns if they already have her Royally Certified Banana buff). She's only outpaced by another Azure buffer (Sivi). |
Summer Amleth
• Aside from acting as a tank, Summer Amleth can be a reliable support debuffer that can decrease the enemy's P. DEF. |
Winter Soltina
• She has ATK and ACC debuffs for the team's main carry without any trade-off whatsoever. • If her ally is a Crimson or Emerald soul witch, the buff lasts for 32 turns. |
Rustica
• Rustica could double as a good support if your Amber team happens to have another DPS in it. She grants herself and that ally shields equal to 400% of Rustica's ATK (800% of her ATK if her ally is an Amber soul too) if you have Rustica's unique weapon at UR rarity. She also buffs her ally's ATK by 30% if they happen to be the ally with the most debuffs when her second active skill is activated (though this could easily end up being herself). |
Nebra
• She has undispellable ATK and Chance to hit buffs for her main carry. However, her primary defensive debuff is slow to stack and only functions for the first 2 turns of the game. |
Ringmaster Cordie
• She can provide Multi-Barrier to all Azure allies given that she has her Unique weapon. |
Winter Stella
• She is a conditional support. Her value is entirely tied to how much your team needs M.DEF reduction and Silence. |
Regina
• She can provide +50% Max HP and cooldown reduction. She makes the carry survive the first hit, and fire the big skill a second time. |

|---|---|
Fenny
• Similar to Fia, Fenny can increase the HP of the two slowest allies (though she will need her unique weapon). |
Richesse
• Silence support, as well as DEF, Debuff RES (100%), and Shield buffs for the slowest witch on your team. Richesse will also give a separate shield to any ally whose HP goes 50% or lower. • However, Richesee has a high base speed, which can make her tricky to use in teams with slower units. |
Priscilla
• One of the better debuff dispellers in the game because of how simple it is to trigger her cleanse: When she uses her first active skill, she can remove up to 2 debuffs from 2 allies (3 if she has her unique weapon). If the magical attack included with her first active skill deals a critical hit, it removes 3 debuffs. • However, there is little reason to get her aside from this and her healing abilities. |
Stella
• Similar to Carol, Stella can inflict Silence on up to 3 enemies with her first active skill and any other enemy that attacks her (courtesy of her second passive). |
Chiffon
• She can buff her allies' ATK and even heal them with her second active skill. However, this skill in particular has some RNG and may end up being cast as a debuff against enemies instead. |
Nina
• Good to have in PvP teams because of her ability to steal buffs. • Currently, her place is threatened by high-accuracy buffers and witches that have multi-barrier protection. |
Dian
• Dian's simplicity makes her a reliable support even in high-end PvP, as her 50% EVD buff for your carry is still a huge thing at the right time. However, this skill is held back by how the EVD buff can be dispelled/stolen by the enemy. |
Belle
• Belle has a niche that she can fulfill not in Offensive PvP, but in a PvP Defense Team. Her passive (100% damage cut if her HP is at 50% or below and the damage exceeds 30% of her Max HP) has a high chance of allowing her to live and stall the enemy team long enough for them to be defeated by her allies. |
Winter Tropon
• Azure DPS that wants to face enemies with much higher HP than she does (since her first active skill's damage scales off of the enemy's current HP). • This is on top of her ability to steal the enemy's buff whenever she attacks. • Performs best at LR rarity with her unique weapon at LR (It gives her a larger shield). • May be better in PvE than PvP in certain circumstances. |
Tainted Iris
• Players will want Tainted Iris for the forcefield and a secondary DPS, especially if they run Amber. She can protect your main DPS with a Force Field that protects them from damage if it exceeds 20% of their Max HP. |
Yuni
• Yuni is one of the rarer healer and cleanser combos in the game, and she does not need much investment to get her to remove powerful debuffs enemies have inflicted on your party. She also raises your main carry's Max HP. |
Minasumari
• Minasumari has a niche when paired with her fellow Azure soul witches: She provides Stealth buffs to the ally with the highest attack, which protects the likes of Florence or Amleth from a good number of targeted skills. • However, Stealth can still be bypassed by AoE attacks, which many units in high-end PvP have. |
Kaguya
• Certain comps (e.g., Chaos comps with Paladea) might want to have Kaguya because of her chance to deal a critical hit and CRIT DMG Boost buffs. |
Summer Nina
• Nina is a decent buffer/debuffer that gives out shields to allies, though she needs to be hit with a debuff herself so she can unlock half of her kit (ATK boosts that scale off how many debuffs she has). |
Milla
• If you want to run a team that can tank burst comps and survive, Milla can be a good pick because of her ability to increase her allies' HP and heal them through Regeneration. • But her Max HP buff for allies is only maximized if the ally has an Emerald soul, which means putting her in parties that aren't made up of a majority. |
Aine
• Aine may be a Radiance character, and there are other Radiance witches players ought to focus on first; she still has value in the form of her 60% CRIT RES buff that she grants to two allies with the highest ATK. The shield she grants to them that's equal to their main Potential stat is a nice bonus. |
Winter Lunalynn
• She is a debuffer with Enfeeble and Erosion which helps the team decrease the enemy's ATK and inflict continuous damage, respectively. She can also grant a Multi-Barrier to the fastest ally who is either Crimson or Emerald soul. |
Eirene
• Eirene's more effective in PvE rather than PvP because her DEF debuff deals to enemies in PvP will be just 25% rather than 50%. However, she still has her Force Field and strengthened basic attack buffs (though for the ally with the lowest SPD), so she's still somewhat useful at least in early PvP). |
Tillie
• Another CRIT RES buffer who has durability compared to D.D. and Aine, Tillie can buff up to 3 allies' CRIT RES by 60% (though she will need her unique weapon at UR rarity), while buffing their ATK and chance to deal a critical hit as well. • However, the ATK and chance to deal a critical hit buffs only become really substantial by the 7th turn, which means Tillie and her team will have to wait until then to start dealing serious damage. |
Pola
• Though she's primarily built as a DPS, Pola can be a decent support because of her first passive skill, which buffs her Emerald soul allies with a stackable 5% ATK buff. Great for majority-Emerald parties full of self-healing powerhouses like Fia. |
D.D.
• Similar to Aine in that she gives allies a CRIT RES buff and ATK buff, while also inflicting critical hit chance debuffs and Faint on enemies. • The main differences are that Aine's chance to resist a critical hit buff is 60%, while D.D.'s CRIT RES buff is 15%. D.D. inflicts Faint, Aine doesn't. D.D. is an Emerald soul witch, Aine is Radiance. |
Lucille
• Lucille can be a reliable support and secondary DPS unit in Crimson teams with her ability to make enemies take more damage, decrease the skill cooldown time of her allies, and even buff their ATK and SPD. • However, she only brings her full skillset to bear in Crimson teams, which makes her team flexibility somewhat limited. |
Flack
• She can gut an enemy's EVD by 50% which can be useful when ensuring the main DPS never misses their marks, but that's all she can do for them. |
Liberia
• Her Turn 1 DEF-to-ATK conversion is a potential power spike for her attacker allies. • Her colldown reset allows her to strip buffs more frequently. |
Evelyn
• Evelyn's 80% Max HP shield allows her carry to survive the initial burst from an enemy. • Because her Chance to Hit buff is undispellable, her carry can counter attack without worrying about missing due to the enemy EVD or buffs. She also specifically targets the ally with the highest ATK so her buffs are consistent. However, her second skill lowers other teammates' EVD which can be risky for squishier units. |

|---|---|
Summer Cordie
• She may have Chance to Hit, and ATK buffs for her allies, but the Chance to Hit buff also gives her allies a Chance to Evade debuff, while the ATK buff scales off Summer Cordie's own attack (which makes it necessary to give Cordie good gear and raise her rarity before the buff becomes truly useful). |
Summer Moddey
• Though her Poison can be potent, her fragility could result in her being defeated before the Poison debuffs stack to a point where they do real damage (on top of her attacks). |
Summer Sabrina
• Guaranteed Faint and CRIT RES debuffs versus enemies, though she needs to be defeated for the former to happen. |
Armstrong
• Armstrong has a slight support function as she can increase the chance to deal a critical hit to herself and the ally with the highest SPD. Other than that, however, she doesn't offer much else. |
Lunalynn
• Make no mistake; her potential group silence (done via inflicting critical hits on all members of an enemy team) can silence an entire team and turn the tide of battle. But enemies in high-end PvP will likely have anti-Silence in the form of Uniform A.A. and other witches. |
Carol
• Aside from the 25% DEF buff she gives to allies, Carol can also inflict Silence on up to 3 random enemies while also dispelling 2 buffs from every enemy on the team. If they're not enhanced with a buff, she inflicts a 40% DEF decrease debuff on them instead. • However, her buffs are dispellable and, worse, can be stolen by other witches. |
Mimi
• Though her Resonance debuff can provide some value in early PvP, it's also dispellable. So once enemies start using cleansers in their defense teams, Mimi can fall off quite quickly. |
Fenrir
• Another useful unit for early PvP with her cooldown decrease buff, but falls off later on when you get better skill accelerators. |
Soltina
• Another unit that's useful in early PvP but falls off when she starts facing units with high multi-hit attacks or units that can bypass multi-barriers altogether. |
Winter Amour
• She can increase her allies' chance to deal critical hits (which rises with each critical hit she makes), as well as their ATK if she's defeated the first time and revived. |
Paladea
• She's not really suited to being a support character, but Paladea can help protect Chaos soul allies in her team with multi-barriers that cannot be dispelled. She's also a potent debuffer, with her first active skill capable of decreasing the enemy's Chance to Resist a Critical Hit by 40% for 2 turns. |
Eir
• Debuffs targets in front of her with Sleep and Bleed. Though these are not the strongest debuffs in the game, they can be useful in a pinch. |
Apostle Rosalie
• A support buffer with yet another tricky mechanic. To stack the buff she needs in order to give out her support powers (lower skill cooldown and healing), her party needs to keep taking debuffs from the enemy. |
Eureka
• A debuff cleanser for Azure that only needs one copy. However, what makes Eureka tricky to use is that she needs to get a debuff from the enemy first (which may or may not result in her getting defeated). |
Moineau
• Her Delay and Enfeeble mechanics are too slow to stop the first-turn nukes in PvP. |
Lumica
• She is not a traditional support. Her only "support" ability is the 30% ATK buff she shares via her weapon. It's a great buff, but since it only lasts 2 turns and offers no protection, she shouldn't be your primary support. |
Mihri
• Mihri can be a good defense character for an Amber team since she gives the entire team a shield equal to 30% of their Max HP and then a massive bonus based on Mihri's ATK. However, for non-Amber teams, her shield is significantly weaker. |
Treasured Fenrir
• She gives her strongest ally an undispellable ATK buff, and a shield to two allies beside her. If they take a hit bigger than 10% of their HP, the extra damage is cut by 50%. She is a little lower in PvP because her buffs take a few turns to stack. |
Treasured Cerberus
• Can buff allies' ATK and SPD when her passive skill is upgraded, though she's a less effective Support compared to a lot of other units. |

|---|---|
Witch Illya
• Better used as an offensive unit than a support, though Illya's Chaos version can still dispel a buff from the enemy if she doesn't beat them with her first active skill. |
Lea
• Lea is not only a good single-target DPS in early PvP, but she's a decent support debuffer as well, capable of decreasing an enemy's chance to evade and inflicting Fainted on them. |
Veela
• Can decrease the ATK and SPD of her enemies, but unlike Sabrina, she's a limited unit. Can still work with just one copy, however. |
Sophia
• Aside from healing her allies with her second active skill (35% of its total damage, which means it relies on Sophia being a good attacker with good gear), Sophia doesn't do much as a support. |
Ophelia
• Ophelia is one of the tankier Chaos characters with a Taunt that can distract enemies and keep them focused on her. The problem with this Taunt, however, is that it can be stolen/dispelled, which means it's useless against teams with dedicated buff dispellers. |
A.A.
• Another tanky Chaos unit, though she has little else in terms of support abilities. |
Elfriede
• Though she's not a debuffer per se, Elfriede still helps other allies by increasing their chances of inflicting a debuff. |
Cerberus
• She's mainly supposed to be an executioner, but Cerberus can also decrease an enemy's P. DEF by 50%, provided that her STR is higher than theirs. |
Fortina
• Though her shields are nice, Fortina is a Radiance unit in a game where there are other Radiance units that can be built and give quicker, tangible results (Meria, Uniform A.A.). • Also, Fortina's shields scale off her ATK, making it necessary to gear her up properly to make her useful. |
Natasha
• Though she's mainly supposed to be a bruiser, Natasha can still act as a basic support debuffer with her ability to inflict Faints on enemies (provided her STR is higher than theirs). |
Olivia
• Though she's a support buffer and debuffer rolled into one, Olivia's high requirements (her ATK buff scales off her ATK, which means she needs good gear and runes) limit her usefulness. For PvP, there are more useful Crimson characters to spend resources on than her. |
Hathor
• Though she can decrease her enemies' ATK by 50%, Hathor isn't good for much else. |
Tropon
• More known for wanting to get hit so she can steal an enemy's buff, not as an offensive unit. |
Luke
• Luke can bypass shields, but her low hit rate limits her usefulness to Guild Raid; she is almost never used in high-end PvP. |
Mertillier
• Mertillier could be useful in early PvP, but the fact that she can only grant her Maintenance buff by the second turn limits her effectiveness. Also, this buff can be dispelled/stolen, which can turn the battle against your team if taken by the enemy. |
Amour
• Amour can act as a pseudo-tank for your team in early PvP, though her true use lies in being a "bomb" of sorts that damages the three enemies directly in front of her whenever she's defeated. Not much good for anything else, however. |
Freesia
• If you ever have to use her, it's because of her EVD buff and how that can help Nina evade attacks more. |
Sabrina
• Sabrina can be good for early PvP because of her critical attacks, Counter-Faint (inflicts Faint when she's hit), and SPD debuffs. But her lack of buffs that ensure her sustainability aside from her Max HP buff may just result in her defeat before she even inflicts any debuffs on the enemy. |
Moddey
• Moddey is one of the more perplexing units in the game because of how she can legitimately be a good support unit if she's made to survive long enough in battle (because of her Poison debuff). Enough so that she could be rated B+ or even A. • But since it's likely only veteran players will be able to do this (with a good number of units that can protect her), plus the fact that there are other units that can be built with quicker returns, Moddey remains at C+. |
Sonya
• Though she's a single-target attacker, Sonya still has a nifty buff for her allies: a stacking 3% ATK and Max HP buff, one stack each for each ally that's still standing. |
Amleth
• A good early PvP unit who can also act as a tank that can keep damage away from your actual DPS. |
Gil’uial
• Though she's one of the more maligned units in the game because of her lackluster skillset, Gil'uial still has some utility as a buff dispeller who's good to go with just one copy. |
Claudia
• Can inflict Fainted on enemies, but doesn't really have any other support capabilities. |
Liselotte
• Liselotte's more of a DPS, but even she can inflict Faint with her second active skill. |
Serruria
• Serruria can grant an increased chance to deal a critical hit to her allies, but she needs to get a buff dispelled from her by an enemy first. |
Artoria
• Though she's meant to be an offensive unit, Artoria has a niche: a 70% chance to inflict Faints on Emerald soul witches. |
Spring Shizu
• She can decrease the SPD of multiple enemies with her first skill, and also decrease the Counter stat of the enemy with the highest Counter (though this is more niche and depends on whether Shizu's DEF is higher than the enemy's). |
Potpourri
• Potpourri may be a top offensive Amber unit, but her Buff Cover protects units' buffs from being dispelled, making her useful to have with DPSs that rely on buffs to extend their damage. |
Liebe
• Liebe provides undispellable ATK buffs that scale with the number of debuffs on the enemy. Her best disruption is locked behind a strict mono-Crimson team requirement which limits her flexibility. |

|---|---|
Valeriede
• Though her skills have improved, Valeriede doesn't have that much in the form of support skills. |
Ivy
• Can deal a Faint with her basic ATK, but only if the target's SPD is lower than hers. Also, the Faint chance is only 50%. |
Rean
• No support abilities in skillset. |
Florence
• Like Rean, she has no support abilities in her skillset. |
Morgana
• Morgana does not have much in terms of support abilities, relying instead on other units to stay alive so she can deal more damage. |
Asahi
• Has no support capabilities in her kit. Asahi is more primed toward dealing damage than supporting allies. |
Alexandra
• Though she can inflict the Bleed debuff, the damage it deals over time is contingent on Alexandra's own ATK. Being a limited Emerald unit, there are other witches you can invest resources in to help your own units deal damage instead. |
Ayse
• Her value comes from her ability to strip turns off enemy buff. However, she provides zero survivability to her team, so she much be paired with a real defensive support to be viable. |
Myrlennia
• As support, her only job is to shred M.DEF for magic-based ally. However, her shred only starts at 5% per stack. |

Sivi
• She works well as a support for slow but high-damage units. Sivi makes sure these units are healed and free of debuffs when it's their turn. She also boosts damage by 75 percent, helping her tough allies hit harder, and gives a permanent defense increase. |
Primavera
• Primavera is one of the most reliable supports in the game. She is strategic in a way that you can place her directly across the enemy you want her to damage. If she lands a CRIT hit, the enemy can no longer receive buffs (Buff Immunity) and their DEF is lowered. She also gives her entire team a permanent boost to ATK and SPD. The more allies alive at the start, the higher the boost. She also has a permanent 35% boost to her own ATK and 100% resistance to all debuffs. |
Cordie
• Her 80% DEF reduction is a great way to beat high-level quest bosses and the Tower of Infinity. |

Stella
• Stella's does damage of a carry but provides the utility of a support. She is perfect for teams that can survive a few hits and then retaliate with a massive counter. |
Rusalka
• If Rusalka’s MAG is higher than the enemy’s, she always lands a debuff that makes them deal 15% less damage. She can revive, heal, reset her skill cooldowns, and give her allies a [Multi-Barrier]. |
Luke
• Luke is one of the few units who can ignore Invulnerable skill and shields. Her passive allows her to ramp up the damage the enemy takes by 75%, making her a huge benefit for the whole team in long fights. She also cuts the strongest enemy's ATK by 50%. However, she is depended on STR to activate her passive skill. |
Matilda
• She combines ATK, CRIT and Hit chance into one undispellable buff. She can also heal the team's carry when she is hurt. However, if her team carry dies, Matilda's value drops. |
Meria
• Being a Radiance unit makes her easy to slot in the team and her SPD boost for her allies can be a game-changer for the team. She also offers Multi-Barriers to her strongest ally after she gets 4 layers of protection. However, she needed her Unique weapon and and allies with same souls to give the team 10% SPD boost. |
Evelyn
• She provides her carry ATK, Chance to hit and Turn 1 protection. She also has undispellable shields for her strongest ally. |

Summer Cordie
• She increases Chance to hit for two of her strongest allies, heals the ally with the lowest HP, and gives a large portion of her ATK to the strongest ally. But her buffs have a long cooldown, so she might not be very useful during that time. |
Richesse
• She targets the ally with the lowest speed, can shield an ally even when it’s not her turn, and silences the enemy to help her team. |
Artie
• Artie lowers the enemies’ M.DEF and debuffs them with Increase Damage Taken, which helps the team do more damage. She is also tough enough that she doesn’t need other units to protect her. |
Lunalynn
• Lunalynn can silence enemies, inflict poison, and boost her team’s defenses. She provides 40% damage reduction and 25% HP Drain. However, her Silence skill has a 7-turn cooldown, and she requires high MAG and CRIT to excel. With inadequate gear, her performance may suffer. |
Carol
• Carol can remove buffs from up to five enemies at once, countering bosses with shields or EVD boosts. If there are no buffs, she applies a 40% DEF reduction. At higher levels, she boosts allies' DEF by 15%. Her Silence only has a 20% chance, so it's unreliable for crowd control. She also only heals herself, not her team. |
Olivia
• Olivia buffs her team, gains 50% DEF from her passive, and shares 30% of her DEF. She provides a shield when attacking, maintaining offense without healing. However, she relies on high-level gear and weapons. Her main skill has a 6-turn cooldown, which is slow. |
Mertillier
• Her Maintenance skill makes strongest ally reduce their cooldowns by 2 turns, gives them a massive 65% ATK boost, and cleanses all of their buffs. While her shields and HP regen only protects her, she can focus on buffing the strongest ally and support her to deal great damage to the enemy. |
Nina
• She doesn't support her team directly, but she becomes a sponge the enemy cannot easily kill of buff themselves against. She steals enemy buffs, and prevents the enemies from reaching their full power. Her support comes through disruption, not empowerment. |
Merlyn
• Her team can benefit from having a CRIT boost from her for free. She can also prioritize the strongest ally and ensure that she will never miss a turn. She also has a buff dispel. However, if Merlyn is in the wrong slot, her passive value is cut in half. She has low direct-healing and doesnt have high defense or damage reduction making her a little bit fragile. |
Freesia
• While she heals her allies and gives the whole team 15% damage reduction and EVD, it isn't much if the team is being bursted by carries. Mostly her skills are to save alies from the brink of death but she can only heal 3 allies at a time. |
Fenrir
• Fenrir supports allies by lowering cooldowns for nearby allies by 1 turn every 4 turns. She also removes debuffs from herself and two adjacent allies. If an ally drops below 50% HP, she instantly heals them for 20% of their max HP. Most players prioritize her for cooldown reduction over healing. |
Soltina
• Soltina is a disruptor. She supports the team by ensuring the enemy gets disrupted with debuffs. |
Winter Amour
• Winter Amour reduces a carry's cooldown by 2 turns upon reviving. She also gives a 60% damage reduction, and automatically targets her fastest and strongest allies. However, she needed to land a critical hit to maximize the buff she gives to her ally, and needs to be defeated first before giving her best buffs. |
Tainted Iris
• Her support skill gives herself, her strongest ally and the fastest ally a Force Field. This prevents the team carry from being one-shotted by massive critical hits, ensuring that they survive at least the first two turns of the fight. |
Yuni
• Yuni offers decent utility with her targeted cleanses and constant healing, as well as her max HP buffs that are undispellable. However, she heals in small increments and is is dependent of her ATK. |
Apostle Rosalie
• Rosalie is a situational support. She can take debuffs and reset your carry's cooldowns every few turns, but without the debuffs, she might have a hard time transforming her active skill. |
Kaguya
• Kaguya provides a team-wide CRIT hit chance buff for 2 turns. When debuffed, she has 70% chance to decrease the enemy's PM. DEF Break by 50%. However, her Counter-Shift dispels as soon as she gets hit. |
Summer Nina
• Nina provides a passive cleanse that triggers when disabled; undispellable shields and ATK buff, and team damage amp. However, her best support skill requires her to be hit with a debuff. |
Milla
• Milla is an ideal support for bruiser teams that need to survive long enough to ramp up their damage. If her allies are Emerald souls, they get an additional HP boost based on Milla's ATK. She also has a Delay debuff that prevents the enemy from reducing their skill cooldowns. |
Aine
• Aine's passive offers herself and 2 strongest allies an undispellable shield scaling off their unique type stat (STR, DEX, MAG). These allies also get 60% CRIT RES, while enemies loses 15% DEF when she hits them. |
Tama
• Tama provides a decoy buff to counter the enemy dispellers from taking or dispelling buffs from your carry. She also gives 20% accuracy boost in Turn 1. Shield, and Invisibility. However, her shield and decoy buffs only refresh every 8 turns, and to get her best shield, her carry needs to be an Amber soul. |
Winter Soltina
• Soltina provides her strongest ally the chance to hit and ATK boosts. Her buff lasts 32 turns for Crimson and Emerald units which creates a permanent buff loop. She also cleanses when hit with 2 debuffs and has 30% SPD and 60% ATK boost to ensure she lands her buffs for her team. |
Winter Lunalynn
• Lunalynn's barriers and ATK-reduction fixes the Emerald units' problem of being a glass cannon. She also has 80% HP Drain and have synergy with both Emerald and Crimson units. However, the 8-turn cooldown for her barrier is a long time to wait. |
Potpourri
• Potpourri has an stacking accuracly buff and hits the fastest enemy 4 times. If she's in an Amber team, she stacks that buff twice as fast. She grants Buff Cover to her entire team which protects their buffs from being dispelled. |
Moineau
• Moineau lowers the enemies' attack by 40% and P.DEF by 25%. In Boss battles, the P.DEF debuff can't be dispelled and in Tower of Infinity, that goes up to 50%. She also inflicts 70% chance of Delay. |
Flack
• Flack provides a 50% EVD debuff which makes the enemy easier to hit for her entire team. She also has a 30% SPD boost on Turn 1, making her possibly move first to debuff the enemies' EVD and buff her carry with 30% Debuff Chance boost. |
Yildiz
• Yildiz gives your Carry a permanent 80% Chance to Hit boost. She also has Buff Immunity, 20% P.DEF and Crit DMG cut for your Carry. With a 100% HP boost and self-healing, she is a natural frontline tank. However, She has conditional damage and an RNG-dependent buff. |
Kobel
• By lowering the ATK of the strongest enemies and increasing the Max HP of her 2 adjacent allies, she significantly increases the effective HP of your team. |
Regina
• Her 30% Damage Taken debuff and 30% ATK buff for allies help the main carry melt bosses and main quest stages. |

Summer Moddey
• Her poison attack deals damage based on the target's HP and absorbs 15% of the enemy's attack power. This helps protect the team, since enemies will hit 15% less hard. However, she needs time to build up her attack and spread her poison debuff. |
Chiffon
• Chiffon's first skill helps the whole team, which is great for teams with several damage dealers. She shields the ally with the highest ATK, which is useful for fragile attackers. However, her passive effect ends after 10 turns, so in long battles, she can become a liability. |
Veela
• Veela doesn't have raw healing or team-wide shields but she can slow down enemies so that the team can loop turns and hit the enemies before they can move. |
Sophia
• Her healing is conditional. She heals the whole team when she is in danger. She also doesn't give buffs to her allies apart from her healing. |
Elfriede
• Elfriede is more of a carry than a support, though she has a buff. She needs buffers and debuffers to maximize her skills. Her main support is the 30% debuff chance boost she gives all allies. |
Cerberus
• When Cerberus has more STR than her target, she lowers their P.DEF by 50% and instantly defeats the enemy with the lowest HP%. While most support units boost allies, Cerberus is designed to take out enemies fast. |
Natasha
• She has conditional debuffs and a permanent ATK and CRIT Hit damage boost. However, she is STR dependent and doesn't buff her allies. Instead, her only support is to make sure the enemy is too stunned to hit back. |
Hathor
• Hathor reduces enemy ATK by 50%, saving your team from ultimates. She attacks all enemies, and if they're already debuffed, can stun the team. Her second skill allows her to maintain Dreaming Dancer. Her debuff only triggers if enemies are already debuffed. She must avoid damage for an 80% ATK boost; if the enemy uses AoE, she won't get it. |
Tropon
• Tropon is great against enemies who use stuns, poisons, or bleeds, turning those against the boss. With her healing, HP buffs, and ability to steal buffs, she can survive without a healer. However, she provides no team buffs or healing. |
Sonya
• Sonya is a sub-carry that offers a passive 15% ATK and Max HP boost to her whole team. She has conditional effectivity that may make or break her team's damage. |
Winter Tropon
• Winter Tropon steals 15% ATK and disarms enemy and use the buff for herself. Her support is about weakening the enemy's strongest unit. |
Gil’uial
• She offers a high degree of utility by being a specialized Silence mage and has some utility as a buff dispeller. However, her Silence debuff at 40% is not guaranteed and can only increase chance if she had buffs or debuffs aimed at her. |
Liselotte
• Liselotte offers a 50% Fainted debuff which can be good for PvE. |
Paladea
• Paladea offers high degree of utility by lowering enemy CRIT RES and providing undispellable barriers. She also has the ability to dispel buffs from the enemy team. However, she is more Chaos soul-focused and may be less effective without them. |
Minasumari
• Minasumari can grant Stealth to herself and the strongest ally for 2 turns. She is an anti-Sniper with guaranteed hits to that type. For non-snipers, she has a chance to decrease tehir SPD. However, her given Stealth gets dispelled if her HP drops below 50%. |
Summer Amleth
• Amleth supports by taking the hits that would kill the carry and by providing a massive, situational DEF reduction. However, she lacks team-wide buffs or defensive utility for her allies. |
Eirene
• Eirene works well in specific PvE modes. She can reduce DEF by 25%, 50% if she is in the Tower of Infinity. Her passive gives her slowest ally skill cooldown and cleanse debuffs. She also gives her slowest ally permanent 30% damage reduction. |
Rustica
• Rustica provides the most buffed ally 30% HP Drain, as well as ATK boost for 4 turns. Every 8 turns, the most buffed ally also gets an undispellable shield. However, she may lose total control on who she buffs if her carry gets stripped off of buffs and move over to the next buffed unit. |
Lucille
• Lucille is a decent ATK buffer. However, her cooldown reset is too hard to trigger without synergy, and lacks defensive utility. But when it comes to running a Crimson Soul team, she boost the team's SPD by 5% |
Nebra
• Nebra offers ATK and Chance to Hit boost ensuring your Carry is consistently buffed. She also stuns multi-hit carries when she gets hit 5 times. However, her stun completely shuts off after Turn 3, and she needed to be hit 5 times for the stun to work. |
Treasured Fenrir
• Fenrir offers an ATK buff that can't be dispelled and has no turn limit. She also has 60% passive damage reduction and 60% CRIT RES for the whole team on Turn 1. However, her cooldown reset skill starts on Turn 7 which can be too far for a team to get. • She also has an extremely slow ramp and a weak damage cut. |
Treasured Cerberus
• Cerberus has 10% ATK and SPD buff and can boost the Carry unit's SPD by 10% permanently. She also ignores Multi-barriers. However, she needs to be in a specific position to be able to utilize her buffs. |
Sage Merlyn
• She is a great opponent for debuff-heavy stages. If your team is constantly stunned, she is the right person for the job. However, her offensive support is completely out of her control and she is being locked to the Azure Soul for her main buff which makes her less versatile. |
Winter Stella
• With her weapon, she gets a 100% HP boost and 40% damage reduction allowing her to replace a traditional tank, freeing up a team slot for another buffer or dealer. However, she is still too slow. |
Liberia
• Her utility is too dependent on the base stats of her teammates. However, she has cooldown reset and Damage Taken debuff that can help push through difficult waves. |

Fenny
• She brings Buff Immunity and Erosion but does not provide healing. Her version of support is more about breaking the enemy than supporting the team. |
Summer Sabrina
• She has a 2-turn Fainted debuff on the highest HP target, and can dispel 2 buffs and decreases the enemy's CRIT RES. However, she doesn't heal or shield allies or buff them, making her a selfish unit. |
Priscilla
• She is can cleanse debuffs and heal allies before they take their turn which should be a good skill to have. However, she is CRIT-reliant and had to be built with some offensive stats for her support skills to be effective. |
Fia
• Fia shares her HP with two closest allies, giving them a permanent boost equal to 20% of her own HP. This effect stays even if she dies. She also deals direct damage based on how much damage she takes. If her team is too strong and Fia never gets hit, her second skill is almost useless. |
Ophelia
• She helps the team by taking hits for them. But if the enemy uses AoE attacks, Ophelia’s taunt is not effective. Also, if her health falls below 60%, she stops taunting, so it’s important to have a healer with her. |
Fortina
• Her [Unhindered] buff ensures the main DPS never misses a turn due to enemy debuffs. She grants the entire team a shield and [Regeneration] buff for 2 turns, and provides a permanent 20% DEF and Counter boost. |
Dian
• Dian has 50% EVD buff which allows her carry to survive without needing a dedicated tank. When her HP drops at 40%, she becomes invisible. From the shadows, she can potentially delete the enemy shields and buffs. However, her EVD buff only lasts 5-6 turns. If the fight is longer than that, the carry loses protection. |
Amour
• Amour inflicts [Blight] to her enemies and gains 50% damage reduction and a 100% Counter for 2 turns. If she dies, she instantly revives with 30% HP and fires a direct attack that deals damage based on all the damage she took over the last 20 turns. However, she doesn't have shield, heal or buff for her enemies. |
Moddey
• Moddey inflicts Poison debuff based on the enemy's current HP, as well as Blight. While she doesn't provide traditional support, she offers debuffs to cripple her enemies. |
Eir
• Eir offers utility through Sleep and Silence debuffs. She is useful mid-game because her 500% shield can be massive. However, Sleep is dispellable. |
Festive Natasha
• Natasha is a bruiser masquerading as a support. She can be used when facing an enemy with too many barriers. Otherwise, there are other supports who can provide significantly more value to your carry. |
Eureka
• Eureka's reliance on being debuff or dying makes her inconsistent in many stages. However, if she is in an Azure team, she can be put as a sacrifice to cleanse the carry of debuff and give her a permanent 50% ATK buff. |
Artoria
• As a general support, Artoria's restriction to the lowest SPD and Emerald-only Stuns, makes her too situational for general main quest pushing. |
Spring Shizu
• As a support, she only slows the enemy down. While 30% SPD reduction is great, she doesnt offer ATK buffs or Chance to hit buffs to maximize team damage to the enemy. |
Pola
• Pola has conditional buffs. She offers 75% ATK buff for all Emerald allies and has 100% extra HP and 65% damage reduction. Her most powerful buffs like double damage, cooldown reset and SPD boosts are locked behind Turn 7. |
D.D.
• D.D. inflicts a 2-turn stun on the highest ATK enemy with the help of her Unique weapon. She also offers 15% CRIT RES to her nearby allies, as well as having a 70% dareduction. Howevermage , her active skills have a 5-turn cooldown. If her first stun fails to land, she has to wait a long time before contributing meaningfully again. |
Mihri
• Mihri provides steady offensive scaling to the carry with 5-10% ATK boost every single turn, and gives a team-wide shield while the shield is small. However, 10% of base HP is not a good shield. She also do not have any crowd-control to help her team. |

Armstrong
• Her utility as a support is limited to one specific stat (CRIT) and one specific person (the fastest ally). |
Serruria
• Serruria may be an anti-dispel unit and grants her allies 30% accuracy boosts, but she is a reactive support. She provide zero buff unless the enemy dispels her. |
Tillie
• Tillie's buffs are either too weak or too small. She doesn't offer the team-wide damage reduction or healing. She, however has multi-barrier targeting. |
Uniform A.A.
• While she doesn't heal her allies or offer buff and debuffs, she can still act as a meat shield because her damage reduction is up to 85% with her Unique weapon. |
Ringmaster Cordie
• She offers 2 layers of Multi-Barrier to all Azure soul allies. |
Carmilla
• Carmilla cuts DEF Break by 50% and stuns enemy on Turn 1 or 2. She also has 75% damage reduction making her act as a pseudo-tank. However, she just stays alive and deals inconsistent damage while her teammates gets defeated. |
Liebe
• Liebe has 70% Stun on the enemy's main carry. However, she is too fragile to survive the frontline and too self-destructive without support. Her ATK buffs are nice-to-have but are locked behind too many conditions. |

Witch Illya
• Illya is not a support unit. While she technically supports the team by taking 20% of their damage early in the fight, that is just a way for her to charge up her own transformation. |
Lea
• The only contribution she gives the team is to inflict damage. Other than that, she has no support capabilities. |
A.A.
• A.A. has zero support value. |
Valeriede
• Valeriede has zero support value. She doesnt not heal, shield or buff allies nor debuff the enemy's defense or speed. |
Mimi
• Mimi provides no utility, healing or buffs to her teammates. |
Ivy
• She has no heals, shields or team buffs. |
Belle
• She doesn't provide anything to her allies except for the damage she deals. |
Rean
• Rean provides no buffs, heals, or utility to her teammates. |
Sabrina
• Sabrina doesn't provide buffs or heals to her team. |
Florence
• She offers no support to the team. She is the one being supported by her team. |
Amleth
• Amleth doesn't shield or heal her allies. She supports by simply being a target the enemy can't get past. |
Claudia
• Claudia offers average utility as a support. She has almost no skills to help her team. |
Morgana
• She provides nothing to her allies. |
Asahi
• She offers zero utility to the team. She requires the entire team to be build around her just to make her reactivate her skills. |
Alexandra
• In a support role, her only value is taking hits so others don't have to. |
Lumica
• She doesn't provide buffs to allies, no heals, shields or crowd control. |
Ayse
• Ayse provides almost no value to the team's survival or damage output, and is a liability because her self-damage mechanic can be a burden to the team. |
Myrlennia
• She provides a small M.DEF debuff, but she is more of a carry than a support. |
