Once you can pull on the Gear Gacha banners, your top priority should be getting a Unique Weapon for your main damage dealer. It's okay to spend Diamonds on Witches' Secrets to get Magic Crystals quickly, but get your daily free pull to reach the bonus rewards based on pull duration. Doing so will let you get free Magic Crystals without spending Diamonds.

However, you will need patience as each free pull does not guarantee a magic crystal. If you want to save time in getting Magic Crystals, using your Diamonds is the best option.

After getting your main damage dealer's unique weapon, you can buy weapon shards using magic crystals to strengthen your main DPS's weapon or get Unique Weapons for other characters. Prioritize getting your main damage dealer's unique weapon before spending on different characters.

Please note that Magic Crystals converted into weapon shards can't be reverted back to Magic Crystals.
