Character Rarity ranges from N Rarity to LR Rarity, including rarity levels beyond LR. It affects characters' stats, potential, and skills, and can be raised by Awakening characters.

Emerald, Azure, Crimson, and Amber Souls characters have different requirements for Awakening from N rarity to LR rarity compared to Chaos and Radiance Souls characters.

N Rarity is the lowest base rarity for characters. These characters have two skill slots and a relatively low level-cap of Lv.100 compared to higher rarities.

N Characters are considered normal and weaker than their higher rarity counterparts. They are recommended to be released and used to contribute required materials in strengthening other characters.

R Rarity characters are a step above N rarity and have 3 skill slots. They are strong for early game, but not recommended in endgame and later stages.

A step above R is R+. Certain R characters can be awakened up to LR+5 Rarity by using the Awaken Unlock feature.

Characters at SR Rarity are rarer and significantly more powerful than N characters and R characters. SR Rarity can be subcategorized into "SR (Standard)" and SR (Limited).

Rarities that are steps above SR Rarity include SR+, SSR, SSR+, UR, and UR+. Characters that have a natural base SR rarity can be awakened up until LR+10.

In general, SR Characters can be obtained by Invoking in all available gacha Invocation Banners.

SR (Limited) Rarity characters are SR characters featured in limited-time gacha banners such as the Prayer of The Fleeting and Chosen Prayer of The Fleeting, as well as in Invocation of Chance and Invocation of The Stars’ Guidance.

They are more difficult to get, but are usually guaranteed on the 100th Invoke during the limited-time gacha banner event.

LR Rarity is the maximum range of rarity characters can attain, reaching up to LR+10 in some cases. In general, characters can reach LR Rarity by using Kindling Orbs as well as character copies.

Reaching LR Rarity remarkably boosts your character's stats and potentials, as well as help them unlock more skills and passives. Moreover, it significantly boosts status effects in the Arcana System for Arcana Groups.

Awaken Character

Character Rarity can be raised by Awakening characters. This can be done via the Awaken tab in the Characters Screen in-game.

Generally, it is recommended to use R Character Copies to Awaken SR Characters. Do note that character copies used as material in Awakening are permanently dispensed and cannot be returned to you once used.

Boosts Base Stats, Potential, Skills, and Raises Max Level

Character Rarity affects characters' base stats, skills, and potentials. Raising a character's rarity remkarably boosts character stats and help characters unlock more skills and passives. Raising their rarity also increases the maximum attainable level.

In general, characters with high damage output are recommended as a priority to be awakened. These include Fia, Cordie, Merlyn, and Sivi among others.
