Equipping Florence with ATK and PM. DEF Break runes will help significantly bolster her offensive power. However, in the later stages of the game, you might want to swap out the ATK runes for CRIT instead, since you'll already have loads of ATK anyway.

ACC runes will help minimize the chances of missing and wasted attacks. SPD will help increase the odds of Florence striking first and potentially taking out key targets. Again, if you don't have SPD runes yet, continue prioritizing PM DEF Break and use CRIT runes instead of PM DEF Break.

For defensive runes, Florence could always benefit from EVD and HP runes, though give her CRIT RES and Debuff RES runes as well will increase her chances of surviving life-threatening blows, buying her enough time to win the battle for you.

If you are starting out and you got Florence as your main DPS, you won't go wrong with pairing her up with Merlyn, Mimi, Primavera, and a tank like Soltina. Merlyn buffs her CRIT so she does more attacks, Mimi extends her damage, and Primavera boosts her ATK and SPD. Soltina meanwhile can tank hits for the team and inflict Faint and Sleep debuffs.

Much later on in PvE, you might want to pick up Cordie from the Space-Time Shop to be your second DPS/new support. She can cover for Florence's slowness, and by this time Merlyn should be able to give a CRIT buff to both units next to her so both her and Florence should be able to get the buff.

If you don't have enough resources yet to fully build Cordie, you can stick to just using her as a support. Just make sure to get her unique weapon, which should already give her the ability to inflict 80% DEF debuffs even at base rarity.

Later on in PvP, if you don't have Cordie, you can still Florence with some caveats. She has to be paired with Amleth (who herself is a good early PvP unit) as well as Minasumari (a limited SR unit that can deal guaranteed hits on snipers - like the PvP dodge tank Nina).

Meria, meanwhile, is a great PvP unit that can boost the SPD of the three units with the highest ATK in your party (which would probably be Amleth, Florence, and Minasumari).

Can Deal Obscene Amounts of Damage With Multiple Attacks

Florence is one of MementoMori's best DPS characters for a reason. Her skill, Scarlet Shimmer, can deal massive amounts of damage. If she lands a critical strike, she gains even more devastating attacks. This is why she is most popularly paired with Merlyn, whose passive 'Apprentice Wanted!' gives her a big CRIT chance boost. With the right setup, she can easily nuke most enemies.

Florence's 'Dance of Twin Lances' is another devastating skill that lets her wipe enemy parties very quickly. It not only attacks the entire enemy party, but makes sure that any stragglers are destroyed quickly.

Can Boost CRIT Chance On Her Own

In addition to CRIT chance buffs from Merlyn, Florence has her own buff skill - 'The Saint's Guardian' - to boost her chance to deal a critical hit. This plays well into her Scarlet Shimmer skill, ensuring that she'll always do the maximum number of attacks whenever she uses it.
