Equip Rusalka with MAG runes to boost her main stat, which increases both her damage and the chance her debuffs land. She can also get SPD runes so she can act earlier and apply debuffs before enemies attack. Once you have her weapon, add a CRIT rune for the extra 10% CRIT, turning her from a utility mage into a burst mage when enemies are debuffed.
If she will be used as a DPS, you can replace the ATK rune with PM DEF. Break rune to offset damage to the enemy.
For defense, equip HP and STA runes to help her survive longer and make the most of her revive passive.

Rusalka is the main debuff controller, using Kikimora’s Downpour to lower enemy damage and set up debuffs for the team. Cordie is the main damage dealer and works best when enemies have weaker defenses. Nina targets enemies with buffs or debuffs to disrupt them further. Primavera applies Fainted and Buff Immunity debuffs, helping Rusalka control the fight. Together, this team focuses on strong debuffing and stopping enemy attacks.
For PvP, Rusalka serves as a debuff controller, opening with an AoE debuff to weaken enemies. Cordie follows up with targeted attacks, while Nina focuses on disrupting the enemy. In PvE, Rusalka acts as a clearer, weakening enemies and providing allies with shields after reviving, and having a full [Multi-Barrier] herself. Cordie handles initial damage, with Primavera and Merlyn keeping the team consistently buffed and sustained.

This team uses lots of shields and has two main damage dealers. Shielders protect the team with shields and barriers instead of healing. Rusalka, Elfriede, and Meria are the main DPS, keeping up steady attacks.
Meria gives the team shields and ATK buffs, helping them survive early attacks and deal more damage. Apostle Rosalie protects allies by taking hits and giving shields, especially when she has her stacks and weapon. Lumica boosts the two strongest attackers with the same soul type. Elfriede adds debuffs and keeps the pressure up. Rusalka lowers enemy damage, attacks debuffed enemies, and can revive once per fight to stay in the battle longer.

Debuff Controller
Rusalka’s Kikimora’s Downpour skill lowers enemy damage for several turns. With her Cendrillion weapon, the debuff lasts longer and is stronger. The debuff only works if the enemy’s MAG is lower than Rusalka’s. In PvP, this skill can make enemy nukers much less dangerous.
Clutch Reviver
Her Maiden of Sacrifice passive lets her revive once per fight, reset her cooldowns, and later give herself and her allies a barrier. In PvP, this can turn the match around. If enemies think they’ve defeated her, she returns stronger, shields the team, and acts right away.
Adaptive Tanky Mage
Her Witch of Torrential Sorrow skill gives her Crit RES when her HP is high and DEF Break when her HP is low. In long boss fights, she starts by resisting critical hits to survive, then breaks enemy defenses to help her team deal more damage.
