How to Awaken Your Characters When You Don't Have Enough Copies

Clear Chapter 11-28

The best way to awaken your characters when you don't have enough copies is to unlock the Invocation of Chance, where you can precisely set a character to get copies of her when you pull. To do this, you must clear Main Quest Chapter 11-28.

Aside from the setting of a character, you have a 2.25% chance to get a Witch's Letter (R) and a 0.80% chance to get a Witch's Letter (SR) from this gacha.

Get Character Shards, Witch Shards, or Witch's Letter/Invitation

Since you need more copies of your characters, do events or game modes to get character shards, witch shards, or Witch's letter/Witch's Invitation. You can get this by trading currency to shops when you clear trials and pull for characters.

Release R and N Characters

When you release characters from your roster, it gives you character coins that you can use to trade for witch shards from the Character Shop. While it is not as specific as the character shards, SR Witch shards will guarantee you get SR characters, and R Witch shards will guarantee you get R characters. If you don't need these characters, you can always use them as fodder when you awaken your character when it is applicable.

Should You Automatically Release N Characters?

Pull From Other Gacha Banners

Once in a while, you get Gacha Tickets like Tickets of The Cursed and Tickets of Souls in the login rewards or events. Depending on your needed characters, the Prayer of The Cursed, Prayer of Souls, and Prayer of Friendship are good resource for character fodders you can use to awaken colored souls (Azure, Emerald, Amber and Crimson).

You also get Witch's Invitation and Witch's Letter as a bonus reward from the Prayer of The Fleeting, Prayer of The Cursed, Prayer of Souls, when you reach 100th, 200th and 300th pull. Please note that it is best to use your Diamonds in the Invocation of Chance. If you have Gacha Tickets for these gacha, then that should be the ones you use in pulling from these gacha banners.
