Chapter 28 Next→ |
MementoMori's main quests are split into chapters, and in each chapter, there are some especially difficult boss fights. Read this walkthrough to find out which teams you can use to clear Chapter 27, what enemies you'll face, and strategies for defeating them.
List of Contents
If you have this team or one similar to it, you should be able to clear the entire chapter without issues.

The team has not failed so far, and even as far as Chapter 27 it can still be viable to use as long as you have your Gear, Runes, and Awakening Levels at the best they can be.
Our Cordie is at LR rarity with Michael gear and a UR-rarity unique weapon, and she has three PM DEF Break runes at Levels 14/13/13. She's the main attacker. Merlyn gives CRIT chance support to both her and Lunalynn, whose job is to silence enemies and delay their devastating skills for the first turn. Primavera stuns important enemies, and Mimi extends Cordie's damage. However, both she and Primavera are interchangeable with other units.
Take note, however, that Chapter 27 is when you will make very big leaps in your Level Link. If you've been coasting along Level 320 or so, then start stocking up on Gold, EXP Orbs, and Kindling Orbs because you will need to raise your Level Link to at least Level 360 to get past all the stages.
Anywhere below this level, there's a big chance that your main attacker will not hit hard enough to take out enemy teams by the first or second turn - which will lead to your defeat.

Just as usual, Fia and Sivi are good alternatives to Cordie, or at least good to pair with her. Fia has HP for days and can pay back the damage she's received, while Sivi has ramping ATK buffs. By this point in the game, you may want to have at least one of them in your possession already (especially Fia, though Sivi is good too if you're only focused on PvE).

Dian will be very useful when you get into stages where Cordie just doesn't have enough firepower.

She heals a lot, so don't let her do that.
Most quests can be won by having one really strong DPS.

Arianrhod has a devastating AoE attack that can cut down your entire team, while Theodora can kill the witch with the highest HP on your team (which is most likely your main attacker). You can field a tankier witch with more HP to bait Theodora, making Arianrhod your only real problem.
You can also handle both her and Theodora by having Lunalynn silence them and/or have Primavera or another suitable witch inflict [Fainted].

Mimi's first active skill is similar to Florence's, as it increases the number of her attacks as she defeats more of your team. This could end up with your team being defeated right at the first turn. Make sure to take her out first, or have someone on your team inflict [Fainted] on her first if she's still alive.

Soteira's a nasty problem herself, but it's Cherna who will give you the hardest time at this stage, as the 5 magical attacks can hit five different members of your team (and take you all out). Position your main attacker and debuffers near her to increase your chances of taking her out first.

For this stage, you'll be coming up against Skuld, Cherna, and Primavera (though Illya is no slouch either, as she can deal devastating single-target damage). Hope that RNG is on your side and you take all three of them out in the first turn.

By the latter half of Chapter 27, you will find yourself unable to shave off the enemy's HP fast enough to defeat them within one or two turns. If you haven't been raising it from Level 320, then you will definitely need to do it here.
If Cordie fails to deal enough damage to take out Olivia, Hathor, and Tropon ASAP, any of them can easily take her out by the second turn. Tropon typically survives the first attack, so we positioned Primavera in front of her. Hope that Lunalynn silences the three of them on the first turn.

Just like in previous stages, Amour will damage the witches in front of her once she is defeated (and will then revive herself shortly afterward). Don't position your main attacker anywhere near her. Sabrina meanwhile is capable of taking out your entire team single-handedly, so get your main attacker as near as possible (while keeping her safe from Amour).

Level 360 (or possibly Level 355) is the lowest you can go with any hope of clearing this stage. The enemy party's HP values will be too high for an under-leveled Cordie to take off within one or two turns without some luck. She will need all the power she can get, as Rean has a [Shield] that will take more than a few hits to take down.
The good thing about this enemy party is that their attacks are easy to evade if your characters have high EVD. Swap out Mimi for Dian and this could give Cordie the EVD boost she needs to get lucky and survive until she fires off both her active skills for the second time in battle (which is typically Turn 5 or 6).
