MementoMori's main quests are split into chapters, and in each chapter, there are some especially difficult boss fights. Read this walkthrough to find out which teams you can use to clear Chapter X, what enemies you'll face, and strategies for defeating them.

Adrian Empire Chapter 26 Guide

Best Team to Clear Chapter 26

If you have this team or one similar to it, you should be able to clear the entire chapter without issues.

As in the past chapters, Cordie should have enough damage output to push through this chapter. However she will have survivability issues if the fight goes on for too long, so make sure her PM DEF Break runes are at level 12 or 13 by this point in the game.

Merlyn meanwhile should have her unique weapon so that her "Like Master Would Do" skill will raise Cordie's CRIT DMG Boost by 20% (which would make Cordie's critical hits stronger).

Lunalynn, Mimi, and Primavera provide support options, with Lunalynn and Primavera stopping enemies from using their skills or attacking altogether, while Mimi extends Cordie's great damage to at least one more enemy unit.

Attackers

MementoMori - Fia IconFia MementoMori - Sivi IconSivi

Fia and Sivi are powerful attackers that have ramping damage that helps them turn a fight in their favor as it goes on. Fia will especially be useful as she can deal a portion of the massive damage she can get from the enemies in this chapter back to them without the risk of being defeated too easily.

Support

MementoMori - Florence IconFlorence MementoMori - Dian IconDian MementoMori - Mertillier IconMertillier

Florence may be useful when you encounter a stage with Soltina in it (her multiple attacks can take down her multi-barriers), while Dian can help your main attacker survive a little bit further if you're findind that's all she will need to win a particular fight.

You can also use Mertillier for her ATK boost, though she will have to stay alive by turn 2 in order to be able to give that buff to your main attacker. You can replace Mimi with any of these three as needed.

Tips and Strategies

Take Out Olivia Quickly.

Since this is a stage with Soltina, you will face the usual problems as you would in any other Soltina stage if your main attacker is Cordie. However, make sure that within the first turn, you will be able to take out Olivia because even though her first active skill does no damage, her second skill deals with four attacks to enemies at random (and they have a good chance of defeating your Cordie). To maximize your chances of hitting Olivia, position Cordie near her or in front of her if possible.

Avoid positioning anyone important in front of Primavera, or at least put someone you can afford to lose by the second turn in front of her (like Lunalynn) since by then she would've already attempted using her Silence debuff.

Tips and Strategies

Take Out Iris ASAP

Iris is the biggest threat in this stage because of her AoE attacks, so make sure to position Cordie near her and, in case you fail to take her out, you can have Primavera in front of her to try inflicting [Fainted] to stun her for one turn.

Tips and Strategies

Another Soltina Stage

As with other Soltina stages, try to maximize the hits you do to her by positioning Primavera in front of her and hoping that your Cordie or someone else on the team breaks her multi-barrier by the second turn.

Carol can also be a problem but if you have Cordie's unique weapon, it shouldn't be too much of an issue because of her unique weapon's ability to lower an enemy unit's DEF by 80%.

Tips and Strategies

Rusalka May Be Your Biggest Problem

Elfriede may look fearsome, but the biggest threat in this stage may actually be Rusalka. After taking her out once, she revives herself, gives herself one multi-barrier, and gets a damage boost that will let her take out Cordie in short order.

There's no direct way to counter all of this with the characters we have on hand, though we can mitigate this somewhat by having Mimi in our team and inflicting [Resonance], which makes Elfriede and Natasha both wind up taking damage when either of them is hit.

Once Cordie makes her attack on the first turn, hope that she will take out Elfriede, Natasha, and Cerberus, and damage Rusalka enough to trigger her revive. If Lunalynn's [Silence] attempt works on Rusalka, you will have probably won the battle. If not, then you will most likely lose. Also, note that Rusalka is very fast, so while Cordie might get the first shot off, she might outspeed the rest of your team. Expect to retry this quest many times.
