How to Enhance Gear

Gear Upgrade

Each Gear can be upgraded to a certain level depending on the character's max level. The initial upgrade will require 40 Gold. Level 20 will require 1940 Gold and 20 Upgrade Water. Level 60 will require 8920 Gold, 60 Upgrade Water, and 40 Upgrade Panacea.

Augmenting Gear

Augmenting Gear raises its Holy Level and Dark Level. Gears with a Holy Level or a Dark Level can be consumed to augment a piece of Gear. However, Gear with mounted runes cannot be selected as the material to be consumed.

Using holy and dark Gear for upgrading, you can synthesize augmented Gear with holy and dark effects. Effects are determined by the body part the piece is for.

Recommended Gear Augments

While you can augment all your gears, the table below shows the recommended gear augments to help players utilize the dark and holy equipment and have a power boost to win battles.

Reforge Gear

By using items to reforge Gear, its bonus effects will change at random. The bonus effects' total points will not change, but the balance distribution will. Distributing points to the unique type stat of the character equipping the Gear will also raise the character's ATK. Each Reforge will cost Gold.

Infusing Runes

Runes enhance specific gear stats. This is done by equipping Runes with the Rune Slot and synthesizing it to increase its effects. The left-side Gear can be infused with offensive-type runes, and the right-side Gear can be infused with defensive-type runes.

Enhancing Named Gear Sets

Later on in the game, you will start unlocking named gear sets such as the Baal Set, the Haniel Set, as well as your witch's Unique Weapon.

You can Enhance these gear sets as long as you have enough Gold, Gear Pieces, and Adamantite. Once you've Enhanced them enough times, you can then Awaken these gear sets with Tree of Life's Dews.
