Soul Affinity Overview

Determines Characters' Strengths and Weaknesses In Combat

Soul Affinity is a character's soul type, which affects and determines their strengths and weaknesses in combat against enemies. Knowing the Soul Affinity of your character and enemies gives you an advantage in battles.

Chaos

Soul Affinity follows rules similar to the rules of "Rock, Paper, Scissors". The Soul Affinities Azure, Crimson, Emerald, and Amber can each beat out and be defeated by the other based on the party team setup. Meanwhile, Radiance and Chaos affect each other equally.

Other ways that Soul Affinity operates is if a character has the more advanteageous Soul Affinity, then the character can receive 25% more damage.

Soul Affinity Bonuses

Azure, Crimson, Amber, Emerald Soul Bonuses

Soul Bonuses

3 with the same Soul	10%	10%
3 + 2 with the same Soul	15%	15%
4 with the same Soul	20%	15%
5 with the same Soul	25%	25%

Putting characters with the same Soul Affinity in the same party gives an Affinity Bonus to the team, giving a decent advantage in battle.

Radiance Soul Bonuses

Adds 1 to majority Soul type

Radiance Souls are counted as wild cards or a +1. They can be counted as soul bonuses for the dominant-numbered Soul type. For example, the team has 3 Azure Souls, 1 Crimson, and 1 Radiance Soul. The soul bonus will be the same as having 4 with the same soul affinity.

Please note that Chaos Souls do not count towards Soul Bonuses. Instead, it has a different requirement and specified effect.

There are 6 types of Souls namely, Azure, Crimson, Emerald, Amber, Radiance and Chaos.

Azure

Azure souls are represented by a blue emblem. They are strong against Crimson.

Crimson souls are represented by a red emblem. They defeat Emerald.

Emerald

Emerald souls are represented by a green emblem. They are strong against Amber.

Amber

Amber souls are represented by an amber emblem. These soul type characters are strong against Azure.

Radiance

Radiance is an independent type of Soul, and equally matches Chaos souls.

Radiance Souls are counted as wild cards. They can be counted as soul bonuses for the colored souls.
