Since Yildiz will most likely play a support role in your team, there's no immediate need to give her damage-focused runes such as STR/ATK, CRIT, or PM. DEF Break. Instead, you want to give her Debuff ACC to help increase her chances of inflicting buff immunity on enemies.

For defensive runes, Yildiz will do fine with the standard setup of HP, STA, and CRIT RES runes. The fourth rune is up to you.

Assuming that you only have one copy of Yildiz and you have her unique weapon at UR rarity, she can be the main support for Cordie in a PvE team because her DEF, P. DEF, and P. CRIT DMG Cut boosts help Cordie somewhat overcome her status as a glass cannon.

If you want Yildiz to transition to a secondary DPS role in the future, this is totally viable, though she will need to be brought up to at least LR rarity before she can do reliable damage.

Yildiz Analysis and How to Play

Great Secondary DPS and Support for Emerald Mains

Yildiz's utility immediately becomes apparent after a look at her skillset. Her passive, Guiding Light of Heaven, gives a P. CRIT DMG Cut along with a DEF and P. DEF buff to the ally with the highest ATK.

On top of this, if Yildiz has her unique weapon at UR rarity, these buffs become more powerful if the ally being buffed is an Emerald witch.

This makes her perfect to pair with main DPSs that suffer from being too squishy at times -- specifically, the Emerald version of Cordie, though only against other physical attackers.

Aside from this, she can also inflict Buff Immunity to enemies with the highest ATK, so any enemies that need buffs to extend their damage will find themselves suddenly depowered.

Suboptimal if Not in Emerald Team, Needs Upgrading for DPS Utility

Though Yildiz can give her defensive buffs to a DPS with other soul types, these buffs are at their best when Yildiz has to assist an Emerald Soul ally.

Also, being a limited unit, forget about using her as a secondary DPS unless you are willing and able to Awaken her all the way to LR.

Great Utility Even at One Copy

Still, all in all, Yildiz is a character with great utility even with one copy only, as her buffs and debuffs are not dependent on her stats to be effective. If you are doing PvE or running an Emerald team, get at least one copy of her as well as her unique weapon to enjoy most of the utility she offers.
