How to Get a Witch's Invitation?

The Witch's Invitation is the final reward for the Start-Dash Mission, a set of missions available to all new players for their first seven days of playing the game. You can progress through the Start Dash Mission by leveling up your characters, doing Main Quests, Quick Battles, Battle League, and completing other objectives.

Once completed, new players will get rewarded with copies of the SR Azure witch Soltina as well as a single Witch's Invitation.

Invocation Banners (Gacha Banners)

The Witch's Invitation is given as a reward for every 300th pull from certain Invocation Banners. These are the Prayer of the Fleeting, Prayer of the Cursed, and Prayer of Souls banners. The letter serves as a form of hard pity for these banners.

What Kind of Witches Can You Get from the Witch’s Invitation?

Standard SR Characters Only

Soul Affinity Witch Invitation

All Standard SR characters across all soul types can be obtained with the Witch's Invitation (i.e. all the witches available through the Prayer of the Cursed banner).

Sadly, this also means that the Witch's Invitation cannot be used to get limited SR witches, especially most Radiance or Chaos witches (except Natasha and Lunalynn).

Which Character to Get With Witch's Invitation?

Obtain Hard-to-Get Standard SR Witches

If you got a Witch's Invitation (from the Start-Dash Missions, for instance), the best character you can get is a standard SR character that's good enough to use even at just one copy.

Assuming you already got witches like Cordie or Florence to act as your main DPS carries, then you can't go wrong using the Witch's Invitation to get support witches like Primavera or Mimi.

If you got Florence as your main DPS, you could also get an extra copy of her with the Witch's Invitation.

Another witch you can consider getting is Lunalynn, who has the potential to inflict Silence on an entire enemy team if she manages to score a critical hit on all of them. Silence is useful because it prevents enemies (especially enemy witches) from using their Active Skills, forcing them to use weaker basic attacks and saving your team from damage.

However, Lunalynn only becomes a reliable debuffer once you've raised her levels, got her unique weapon, and gave her CRIT runes. All of these are supposed to increase her chance to deal a critical hit, but it can take you until the mid or late game to get to this point so weigh your options carefully.
