MementoMori's main quests are split into chapters, and in each chapter, there are some especially difficult boss fights. Read this walkthrough to find out which teams you can use to clear Chapter 20, what enemies you'll face, and strategies for defeating them.

Kingdom of Chekkos Chapter 20 Guide

Best Team to Clear Chapter 20

If you have this team or one similar to it, you should be able to clear the entire chapter without issues.

Cordie will still play the role of the main attacker in your team, with Merlyn given enough SPD runes to make sure she'll buff Cordie's ATK before she makes her attack. Mimi will allow Cordie to damage more enemies, while Primavera will inflict Faints on the enemy you want to faint during the stage. Florence will help in dismantling multi-barriers by Soltinas.

Remember that throughout this chapter, you will have to devote resources toward upgrading Cordie's runes, as well as her Gear Augments, especially her Chest Gear and Weapon for Dark augments, and her Gauntlet and Accessory gears for Holy augments.

Nina

Amleth can act as a tank that will absorb damage (and keep it away from your main attacker), while Nina can steal buffs from enemies (particularly useful versus any Amleths you will encounter in the Chapter).

Support

Lunalynn

Lunalynn is one of the best support units you can get for this stage because her Silence debuffs can blunt an enemy's damage for one turn, giving your main attacker more time to take them out.

Prepare to Upgrade Your Runes

If you are a Free-to-Play (F2P) player and your progression hasn't been stuck at Chapter 18, then you will definitely be stuck by Chapter 20 because you will need to upgrade your main attacker's PM DEF Break runes to at least Level 11.

Though you can farm Rune Tickets to buy the lower-level runes necessary to upgrade your PM DEF Break rune, this can take a while. That's anywhere from 3 or 4 weeks up to a few months depending on how diligently you participate in Guild Battles/Grand Battles and use the coins they give to buy Rune Tickets, as well as how much of an event's currency you gather to buy Rune Tickets with from the Event Shop.

You can save time by buying Gear Upgrade Gifts, Sealed Chest Gifts, and Sealed Key Gifts from the shop with Diamonds. The Gear Upgrade Gift gives 200 Rune Tickets for 9,900 Diamonds, while the Sealed Chest Gifts and Sealed Key Gifts cost 1,560 each (all sealed chests have a chance to give out Rune Tickets).

These packs will give you enough rune tickets to buy the materials needed to upgrade your PM DEF Break runes to level 11. For example, if your PM DEF Break runes are still at Level 9, you can get them to Level 11 within a week or two.

Tips and Strategies

Prioritize Taking Out Sonya, then Soltina

Sonya will be the most dangerous enemy you'll face at this stage. Her first skill will trigger not only a critical attack if its target still has more than 60% HP, but also an additional attack that deals damage equal to 250% of her DEX. This could be enough to defeat your main attacker within one turn.

So either you bring along Lunalynn to try silencing her or inflict a Faint by putting Primavera in front of her. Try to disable her for at least one turn so if your main attacker fails to do her in within the first turn, she can still be taken out in the second.

Tips and Strategies

Stun or Silence Belle

Belle is the biggest threat in this quest, so taking her out as soon as possible becomes a priority. Again, your options are either to try fainting her with Primavera or Silencing her with Lunalynn, so in case your main attacker fails to take her out in the first turn, they'll still have a second chance.

Bring Along Lunalynn and Amleth

As mentioned earlier, try to bring along Lunalynn to Silence other enemies such as Amour and Mimi, and bring Amleth or another tank to soak up damage while your main attacker brings in more damage.

Tips and Strategies

Silence Soltina and Nina

Soltina and Nina will give you the most pain during this quest, especially if your main attacker is Cordie. One of the ways to somewhat blunt the damage they deal is by Silencing them with Lunalynn, giving your main attacker more time to deal damage and defeat them.

Level Up Your PM Def Break Runes

Quest 20-17 is not only a quest but also a check on how much damage your main attacker is using. If you haven't been upgrading your PM DEF Break runes until this time, you will have to do so for Quest 20-17. At the very least, your main attacker will need three Level 11 PM Def Break runes to be able to deal the damage necessary to break through this quest (and the rest of the Chapter).

Tips and Strategies

Silence the Enemy Party With Lunalynn

Your main attacker will definitely finish off Florence, Fenrir, and Merlyn, but Soltina and Nina will be your biggest obstacles in this quest. This is why you will need to rely on Lunalyn to be able to Silence both of them while Florence helps break Soltina's multi-barrier. Once that is done, Cordie can deliver the final blow.

Tips and Strategies

Make Sure to Faint Rusalka, Use Mimi to Damage Her

As the boss of this Chapter, Rusalka is the biggest threat at this level. She will be protected by a multi-barrier as well. Luckily, Mimi's Resonance skill will allow you to damage her by damaging Dian. You can also position Primavera in front of her for a chance to inflict a Faint. Florence can also help in breaking the barrier.

After enough retries, you should be able to emerge victorious.
