The Blast Set is made of the following Gear pieces:

Slot Gear Effect
Head Gear Impact Helmet Improves blast defense.
Chest Gear Impact Vest Improves blast defense.
Wrist Gear Impact Gloves During a Machete Kill, use R1 to arm a grenade on an enemy.
Leg Gear Impact Slacks Improves blast defense.
Foot Gear Impact Boots Disable a tripwire by stepping on it.

How to Use the Blast Set

Useful Against Grenades and Tanks

If a site uses a lot of tanks or mortars, this set can provide a decent defense. This works both ways, as the answer to tanks is often explosives of your own. Wearing this set lets you throw explosives a little closer to you without suffering blast damage.
