There is only one way to takeover the skies in Yara - and that is to destroy Anti-Aircraft Cannons that are scattered all over Yara. Destroying them will not only net you the rare Depleted Uranium resource, it also grants you freedom to roam the skies of that area.

What are Airspaces?

These are the areas above the main controlled territory of Yara. Flying in them without the explicit knowledge of the Yaran army will quickly alert the Anti-Aircraft Cannons situated in the state. Stay too long in the restricted Airspace and your aircraft will surely meet its doom.

Freedom to Roam the Skies

While the fastest why to travel all over Yara is still the Fast Travel points, hurtling through the sky with the Angelito FW Turbo or a helicopter is still pretty cool. Once Airspace has been liberated, you are free to roam the skies with any aircraft that you wish.

Liberating airspaces (destroying 16 Anti-Aircraft Cannons) will grant you the Friendly Skies Trophy.
