The Treasure Hunt will automatically activate when you read the note in the area. You can find the starting location due west of where the map marker for Mirador Cape is in the La Joya region of El Este.
Mimo Abosi's Relic is part of the Triada Blessings Yaran Story, or start it if that side mission hasn't been started yet.

| 1 |  Read the Note Reading the note will activate the Treasure Hunt. It is posted in front of a locked gate, inside of an orange metal box. Shoot out the lock on the gate once you've activated the Treasure Hunt. |
| 3 |  Turn Off the Generator You can turn off the generator in the next area by simply pulling the plug on it – alternatively, you can shoot it out or cause it to explode. |
| 4 |  Get the Fan Room Keycard. There is a nearby Fan Room Keycard that you can pick up – do so before heading into the water. |
| 5 |  Reach the Fan Room Inside of the water, simply swim all the way to the other side and head towards the Fan Room. |
| 6 |  Turn Power On With the power on, you can now go through the locked door. |
| 7 |  Rappel Down When you reach the bottom, walk straight ahead until you see the chest for the treasure. |
| 8 |  Take the Relic Grab the idol on your way out to end the hunt. |
