Inside the Mind is a roguelite DLC expansion to Far Cry 6 which has you take the place of villains from former iterations of the Far Cry series. See an interactive map for all three episodes, with Vaas, Pagan, and Joseph, as well as tips for starting out and a guide to all endings!

Collect Three of Each Item

Inside the Mind has players step into the minds of previous villains in the Far Cry series. There, they will have to complete challenges and take down tough enemies to collect all three pieces needed to complete the game.
Unlock Weapons in the Early-Game
Your first priority in Inside the Mind will be unlocking weapons and points of interest on the map. Having an understanding of the map will make pathing and farming easier.
Upgrade Weapons and Traits Mid-Game
Once you've found a comfortable loadout to work with, your next step would be to make your character stronger through permanent upgrades to your traits and weapon crates. Farm enemies for cash and invest them back into your character at your base.
Farm for Upgrades and Collect Fragments in the Late-Game
To close out a run, players need to complete the main objective, which is gathering three fragments related to the villain you're playing as.

Dying is Natural
Inside the Mind is a roguelite gamemode introduced into the Far Cry series. Here, you are pushed into an unknown map with a single gun, tasked with a near-impossible mission.
Completing the game in your first try will be highly unlikely, but players can always learn something new in failure. While you lose all your cash and inventory items, you can always spend your cash on permanent upgrades such as weapon crates and traits.
Upgrade Your Sidearm
An easy way to get going in Inside the Mind is to upgrade your sidearm. This is a free weapon that you get early on in the game, and could scale into the mid and late game of Inside the Mind.
Spec Into Pride and Greed First
Your first priorities in Inside the Mind is to build up your Health pool and increase your mobility options. Allocating money into Pride and Greed will allow you to challenge harder fights overall, and give you more room for exploration.
Spec Into Sloth for Mobility
Pumping points into Sloth will grant your character access to the Wingsuit, Parachute, and Grappling Hook, as well as spawn vehicles in safe areas. This allows players to have faster and more efficient runs.
Unlock Rifles and LMG's
Because this gamemode focuses heavily on gunfights, you will have a hard time trying to sneak your way through every gunfight. Your priorities for unlocking guns should start with Shotguns and SMG's, and ultimately end with Rifles and LMG's.
Explore the Map for Upgrades
Upgrades offer you the edge in combat that turns you into a one-man army. Explore the map, and challenge trials to find upgrades that fit your build, . Upgrades you don't need can be sold for cash, which can then go into more permanent upgrades.
Inside the Mind Endings
Leave Your Mind
Once you complete the main objective, you will need to survive five waves in order to finish the run. Once you do, you have the option to finish the run or stay to fight. Leaving after five waves gives you the ending where you leave your mind.
Stay In Your Mind
Once you have survived the five waves, you can choose to stay in the mind of your character to find closure. You will have to survive three more waves, and defeat a final boss after.
Secret Ending
At Mind Level 5, finishing the run by leaving or staying will result in an alternate ending. Here, you will see or hear voicelines by previous villains and their loved ones, suggesting their true fates after the events of previous Far Cry games.
Inside the Mind Rewards
Gear Set and a Dashboard Prop
Completing challenges will reward players with gear from each villain. Aside from cosmetic purposes, these pieces of gear also provide bonus attributes to your character.
Additionally, finding all chibis on the map will reward players with a dashboard prop of the respective villain. These can be displayed on your Rides.
How to Get Each Reward

| Chest Gear | Successfully escape the mind. |
| Leg Gear | Hold at least 8,000 Cash, Respect, or Penance. |
| Foot Gear | Discover Every location. |
| Wrist Gear | Unlock All Weapons in the Armory. |
| Dashboard Prop | Find Every Chibi |
Completing these challenges will reward players with gear associated with the character you're playing as. If you want to complete the set for all villains from each DLC, you will have to complete these challenges in each DLC Episode.
