This is a guide to upgrading from the current-gen edition of Far Cry 6 to the next-gen edition. Read on to learn how to acquire next-gen upgrades and what carries over in the game.

| 2. | Go to the PlayStation Store on the console using the account you bought Far Cry 6 with. |
| 3. | Download the upgraded version once it is available. |
The upgrade to the PS5 Version is free! All you need to do is to check if the upgrade is available in your region, go to the PS Store, and then download the upgrade!

| 2. | Insert the disc to launch the next-gen version of the game. |
PS5 upgrades are not available for physical versions of Far Cry 6 on the discless PS5 Digital Edition. Also, note that you can't use the Digital version of the game with this method.

The upgrade to the Xbox Series X Version is likewise free. You don't have to shell out any money.
