While in combat, the most effective way to use the Furioso is by finding a group of enemies or a land based vehicle you wish to absolutely destroy. Alternatively, you can wait for these to come to you while in combat, which turns the enemy's strategy of rushing you into a funnel for their deaths.

Activate the Supremo, which causes you to hover in the air for a moment. Jump during this to thrust yourself forward, spreading the carnage of the flames further along a line of enemies if you've managed to funnel them towards you.
