| Find the pirate treasure. An ancient treasure that once belonged to a pair of dueling pirate lovers lies in a skull-shaped cave. The treasure harbors a fatal curse but that's not going to stop me from looking for it. |

How to Unlock Sword-Crossed Lovers

The Treasure Hunt will automatically activate when you read the note in the area. You can find the starting area for Sword-Crossed Lovers to the east of the Oku Creek Checkpoint, near the cliffs, with the checkpoint to the east of Del Toro Point in the Barrial region of Valle De Oro.

Find the Pirate Treasure

| 1 |  Read the Note Reading the note activates the Treasure Hunt. |
| 2 |  Use Your Machete Save your bullets. Use your machete to break the wooden planks barring the doorway. |
| 3 |  Climb the Stairs Past the reception area is a stairway, climb up until you reach the top. |
| 4 |  Swing to the Platform Using your hook, swing to the next platform and climb higher. |
| 5 |  Climb Outside Once you reach the platform, exit to the open space. |
| 6 |  Go Back Down Once outside, take the stairs after a few ledges going back down to the cave. |
| 7 |  Break the Planks The room to the right will have some materials, the barred doorway in the left is the way to the next part of this hunt. |
| 8 |  Swing to the Cannon The room to the right will have some materials, the barred doorway in the left is the way to the next part of this hunt. |
| 9 |  Interact with the Cannon The cannon will fire at the rocks blocking the path to the treasure clearing the way. |
| 10 |  Go Past the Unlocked Path Take the last flight of stairs to the treasure. |
| 11 |  Get the Treasure Once you get your treasure, the previously locked door will now be open making your exit more convenient. |
