Best Methods to Raise Rank Fast

Complete Missions

Completing Operations and Yaran Stories are the best and most reliable ways to increase EXP in the game. The difficulty of the mission, the higher the EXP rewards.

Destroy Vehicles

Another good source of EXP in game are destroying vehicles. However, they are not as easy as it would seem as a land vehicle can outright kill you if they run you over and hitting helicopters requires specific weapons in order for you to defeat it.

Destroying Land Vehicles

As mentioned, land vehicles are a bit dangerous as a single hit can outright kill you.

The best way to deal with them are gadgets and Supremos. Dynamite in particular are pretty effective and have multiple uses. Supremos can be quite tricky as they are one-shot and a single miss can spell doom for you.

Destroying Helicopters

Helicopters are not as dangerous compared to land vehicles but they are far more difficult to destroy. Unless you have a weapon that can dish out huge damage in one go, it'll take you hundreds of bullets to actually bring down one.

The best way to deal with helicopters are Launchers and the Exterminador or Volta Supremos.

Raising Rank Rewards

Raising Rank in Far Cry 6 unlocks new weapons and items in Juan's store which can be very helpful in finishing the difficult missions later in the game.

That said, Rank does not correspond to any direct increase in stats, so it's perfectly possible to complete higher-ranked sections of the game as long as you have obtained sufficient equipment on your own.

Max Rank (Max Level)

The effective max Rank in Far Cry 6 is Rank 14, Comandante. At this rank, the player will unlock the Glorious Leader trophy. From this point on, no new weapons or gear will be available from increasing Rank, although it is still possible to reach higher ranks with no real effect.

Here is the list of ranks past Commandante all the way up to Leyenda at Rank 20.
