Submachine Guns are mid-tier weapons that stay between rifles and pistols in terms of power and performance – easy to handle and generally stealthy. Find out what the best submachine guns are, their stats, and how to get them!

How to Get | Inside of an FND Chest at a military held location northeast of Diamante Checkpoint E. |
The MP7 is the strongest of all non-unique Submachine Guns that you can get in the later stages of the game. This gun handles like a rifle, with weak recoil and an average rate of fire.
It is easy to direct in whichever direction you wish to point it at, even when firing a full clip. It is best used in close-range encounters or in narrow spaces where enemies will group behind each other, giving you an easier time to aim down the sight and just let loose against your enemies.

How to Get | Inside an FND Cache in a security checkpoint off to the side of the road east of the FND 2nd Armor Division. |
An ancient weapon by modern standards, the PPSH-41 has an average rate of fire compensated by its rifle-like clip size, coming in at 71 rounds per clip. Although it has a fairly strong recoil, it can easily be controlled even when firing the weapon at full auto.

How to Get | Search La Raja Bar in Fuego Valley. |
The perfect weapon to use when you wish to just spray bullets at enemies, the SMG-ISSIMO has great handling and rate-of-fire at the cost of suffering through a generally weak power output. This gun is best used with short bursts aimed at the upper portion of an enemy to allow you the chance of scoring a headshot.

The Heroic End | Damage | |

How to Get | Search The People's Pride Clinic in Dorada Cove. |
A top-tier Unique Weapon, the Heroic End is a very strong tool to use up against enemies in mid to close-range combat. Its high rate of power on top of its better than average handling makes it a weapon that's easy to point and shoot at enemies – it does, however, suffer from some recoil that can otherwise be controlled through short bursts of fire and active handling.
Submachine Guns are quick and easy weapons to make use of at close range. Though they cause weak damage, they are particularly strong against unarmored targets and can contend against armored ones due to their high rates of fire.
