The Far Cry series is notorious for its auto-save feature. Find out if quick save is available in Far Cry 6 and how to save your progress in the game!
How To Save Game Progress
Manual Save Is Not Possible
Sadly, it is not possible to save your game progress manually in Far Cry 6. Hopefully, Ubisoft implements a manual save for their next entry in the franchise.
Autosaves When You Fast Travel To A Safe Area
The game autosaves whenever you fast travel to a safe area. You'll notice an icon on the upper right corner of your screen every time the game saves your progress. This icon is an indicator that your game is being saved.
We recommend keeping an eye on the save icon whenever you plan to close the game so you won't lose your progress.
Autosaves Before and After Important Events
The game also autosaves before and after important events happen. We have seen this happen before entering an enemy battle camp and after clearing a mission. This gives player a nearby respawn point just in case they die doing a mission.
Autosaves When You Pick Up Items
Players can intentionally trigger the autosave by collecting items. Picking up scraps and materials found anywhere in Yara will always trigger the autosave function.
As a rule of thumb, always keep an eye on the autosave icon on the upper right corner of your screen to make sure that your progress has been saved.

Unfortunately, quick save is not available for Far Cry 6. The game has an autosave feature that automatically saves your progress as you go through the game.
