When Does Fast Travel Become Unavailable?

Fast Travel is one of the easiest way to go around the islands of Yara. However, on certain occasions the fast travel option will be disabled.

Occurs When A Mission Is Near

When a mission objective is directly beside a fast travel point, the fast travel usually becomes disabled. The only exceptions are if the next objective is talking to a particular person.

When Doing an Interception Mission

Interception Mission involves chasing down the military before they reach a particular spot. As actually going to that particular area in Yara is part of the mission, the fast travel option is disabled until you succedd or fail in the mission.

When You Are in Combat

Being in battle also disables the fast travel function. This means fast travel cannot save you from potentially dangerous encounters.

How To Fix Disabled Fast Travel

Defeat your enemies or run

If the reason for the disabled fast travel is a battle, simply defeat the enemy. If its too difficult, run away until they stop following you. Once they stop, the fast travel option should be available once again.

Choose a different fast travel point

Unfortunately, disabling tracking of a mission objective won't reactivate a fast travel point. Either you clear the mission or travel to another fast travel point. Luckily enough, there are plenty of checkpoints you can choose from all over Yara.
