Other than your weapons, Supremos, and amigos, gadget mods are another means for you to wreak havoc on Anton Castillo's forces.

Auto Turret

This gadget is perfect during assaults. This essentially gives you extra firepower which is useful especially when you're swarmed with a lot of enemies.

Pipe Bomb

Pipe Bomb deals damage - an insane amount of damage. This is perfect in clearing numerous enemies in one go or a vehicle if timed right.

C4

While its damage is not really on the same level as the Pipe Bomb, C4 makes up for it with a remote trigger. Set the bomb and back away and detonate at the most opportune time.

Remote EMP Charge

Similar to the C4, this bomb that takes out eletricity-based equipment at a safer range. Not only that, its sticky so you don't have to time your throws right.

Throwing Axe

Throwing axe deals some decent damage against soldiers but the main advantage is the silence. Combine this with other stealthed weapons to prevent getting caught early.

Healing Syringe

This is really effective during tight spots and you have no other healing options.

Healing Canister

This is particulary great when mixing offense and defense. Stand in the cloud and fire away. Also, this is effective in co-op mode as this will also heal your partner.

How to Use Gadget Mods

Know your strategy

Depending on the kind of mission you are playing or the kind of strategy you want to employ, you may want to skip out on the explosives and just focus on gadgets that are silent such as the Throwing Axe.

Combo it up with the right equipment

After determining your strategy, combo it up with the right weapon. Gadgets are your back-up not your main damage dealer. If you are going to go assault, get a good LMG and Launcher. If you're planning on stealth, pack up the right sniper or stealthed weapon.

Use wisely

Unlike weapons, gadgets have severely limited use. So, do not abuse them and use them right at the beginning of an encounter. Find the perfect time to use them to maximize their utility.
